A 'Lovely' Talk

Hinata's POV

It was 5 in the morning, and I felt an arm around me. I opened my eyes and saw Kageyama.

I broke free from his arms and went to go get ready. I was use to waking up early. I always had to make breakfast for my parents. I got ready and took my bag. I went to the gym and saw Bokuto, Kuroo, and Akaashi practicing alone. "Oh hey!" I said dropping my bag on the floor.

"Morning Hinata." Akaashi greeted me.

"What are you guys doing up so early?" I asked.

Kuroo patted me on the head, "We can ask you the same. We just got here!"

"Oh, you wouldn't mind if join, right?" I asked.

Bokuto came in squeezing me, "YOU CAN JOIN WHENEVER!"

"Knock it off Bokuto, you're going to kill him." Akaashi stopped him. They noticed me whimpering.

"S-Sorry .. It's just the cuts and bruises I have.."

"Woah, are you okay buddy?" Kuroo came up to me.

"The captians are going to mention this. So you can figure it out by them. Let's just practice!" I said putting a smile.

Tsukishima's POV

"Urgh.." I lifted my head up to get my glasses off the floor.

I'm use to sleeping with Hinata.

I looked next to me to see that Kageyama just woken up too. I look behind him to check on Hinata. He's not there.

Again?!
Why does he wake up early?!
He must be with the weirdos..

I got up and got ready. I took my bag and headed to the gym. I see them practicing. "Not going to lie, for a middle blocker, you can jump high!" Kuroo complimented him.

Yep, there he is.

"Morning Tsukki-dude." Bokuto waves.

"It's Tsukishima. Also Hinata, again, don't leave when I'm not awake."

"Gom-" Kuroo interrupted him.

"Leave Chibi-Chan alone! He's just practicing with us." Bokuto quickly interrupted him.

"Don't call me Chibi-Chan." Hinata pouted.

[ AFTER PRACTICE ]

Hinata's POV

Coach Ukai is going to treat us with Barbecue. Noya and Tanaka were doing some dance when they heard meat. I laughed and smiled causally.

I've found happiness.
This team is like a family ..
A normal family that I never really got to experience.

I put my volleyball back in the bag, closed it and went to the room to drop it off. The only person that was in there was Yamaguchi. He noticed me. "Hey Hinata."

"Oh hey Yamaguchi. We haven't really spoke, havent we?"  I put on a smile.

"Yeah .. I have a question, come here, sit down." Yamaguchi led me to the couch.

"We have a Barbe-" Yamaguchi put his hand on mine.

"Be honest with me." I looked at him in the eyes. "How are you with Tsukishima?.."

"Why are you asking me this?.." I asked..

"Please Hinata. I saw his eyes about to tear up. I'll tell you why.." he let go of my hand.

"Tsukishima .. he was a lot more cheerful when he was younger and had a very close relationship with his older brother, Akiteru. Pretty sure you know him." I nodded. "As a young child, he seemed to really like volleyball, due to his older brother's own love for the sport."

"So he always had a smile on his face when he was younger?.."

"Yeah! Till, he found out his brother wasn't actually in Karasuno's volleyball." Yamaguchi said happily.

"How'd you guys become friends?"

"Interesting story! I use to be bullied. He would sometimes just see me being bullied and call the bullies pathetic. Till, this one day, he once found that it was easily to stand up to the bullies. So then, I looked up to him. So please answer me. What are you to him? Do you like him? Like, guy to guy?"

"Hm?! Well .. I think I have feelings, not quite sure .. " I started to blush a lot.

"That's cute! I totally support. Just make him happy. That's all I want from you. And be safe. I would want to see you without bandages." Yamaguchi hugged me then left the room.

I put on a long t shirt and shorts on. I took out the volleyball from my bag.

I'm not hungry ..
I'll just practice till the end of the barbecue.

I left the room to the back of the gym. Nobody was in there except for the students cleaning the gym. "Hey! I'll clean after, I'm going to practice here for a bit." The students nodded and left the equipment in the storage room.
