Bad Teacher Part 74- Give me a Chance

"Demi, he feels horrible about all this, if you let him explain to you maybe you can give him a chance."

"Give him a chance? you want me to give the guy who said he's in love with my fiance a chance? not gonna happen. I don't trust him around her."

"And I don't know if I could trust her around him..." she said in a quite tone thinking that I didn't hear it but I did

"He said it didn't mean a thing, he knows that he screwed up...Demi if you look at him now he's on the verge of tears and trust me when I say that he wants to explain things to you. If he didn't care or if he didn't feel bad at all he would've just let it be but he didn't. Demi hear him out because if you didn't know, if it wasn't for him Jeremy wouldn't be safe he'd still be with Stephanie and Alex wouldn't even be alive, she wouldn't even be here right now and she wouldn't be here to get out of where she is now to be with you." I said she looks at me and she has tears in her eyes and she finally gives in and says 

"Fine, but the only reason why I'll even listen to him is because I know I don't want to put Alex and Jeremy to be in a bad place especially Alex when she wakes up from this."

"Okay, here let me help you." I said as she kisses Alex's hand and says

"I'll be right back baby." as I push her wheelchair into the lobby, we see Zac talking and lifting Jeremy in the air. I noticed Demi smiling after seeing Jeremy and Zac playing but it soon drops when Zac looks at us and she knew they had to talk.

"Mommy!" Jeremy said

"Hey babyboy!"

"Is Momma gonna be okay.?" 

"Yeah..yeah she is Jeremy and when she gets all better, we can go to the park and spend time at home with our family." she said

"Yay! Can Uncle Zac and Uncle Nick come too?" he said Demi looks at Zac and bites her lip and says

"I don't know about Uncle Zac but Nick could come."

"Uncle Zac can you come to the park with us soon when Momma wakes up?"

"Uh..sure little man I'd love too."

"Yay! and I can show Momma what Uncle Zac gave me." he said as he lifts up Zac's dog tags

"Uncle Zac gave you this?" she said

"Yeah, he said it'll bring me luck and it does because my wishes came true."

"Oh really and what was that?" she said

"That the bad guys can go away and that Momma could come and save us and bring me back to you and for you to feel better and that you were okay." he said I heard Demi catch her breath and she said with a tear escaping her eye

"That wish came true babyboy." she said Jeremy smiles and he grabs his dog tags and wraps his hands around it and closes his eyes and doesn't say anything

"Little man what are you wishing for?" Zac said

"Shhh, not yet." he said he lets go of the dog tags and looks at Demi and Demi says

"What did you wish for baby?"

"I wished for you to be happy and not sad Mommy." he said as he put his little hand on her cheek and wiped away her tears." He smiles and Demi hugs him and says 

"I love you Jeremy."

"I love you too Mommy."

"Alright little man let me take you to grab a bite to eat." I said

"Okay, do you want anything mommy?"

"No babyboy I'm okay go ahead and eat with Nick you must be hungry."

"Okay mommy."  he said as I take his hand and walk away from them

Demi's POV

As soon as Nick and Jeremy walk away Zac walks up towards my direction, and sits down next to me, he has his head hung low and I hear him sniffle a bit and he looks into my eyes and his eyes are watery and says

"Demi, I'm so sorry I was stupid for thinking that way and I know I crossed a line when I said those things but I just said those things to get them off my mind and move on because I knew I didn't have a chance on getting with Alex. Please don't be mad at her because of my mistakes, you have every right to be mad at me but not her. I'm just so sorry." he said as a tear falls from his face

"Zac, I don't know if I could trust you after this but I know without you Jeremy wouldn't have been safe and Alex wouldn't even be alive. You saved them and in my book you're a true hero, but it's going to take time for me to trust you...and to fully forgive you. But right now my main focus is my son, his father, my fiance and her father, hopefully in the future we can put this behind us and move on." 

"I understand, but believe me nothing like this will ever happen again I-I promise." he said

"Good, I have to go see how Alex's is doing and join Nick and Jeremy after, I'll see you around." I said as I wheel myself over to the doors that led to the rooms until I heard Zac say

"Demi wait."

"Yeah?"

"Don't think I'm the bad guy, I'll always be around to help you guys out because..you're like family and family sticks together even during the worst of times." he said

"I don't think that Zac, and you've already done enough to prove to us that we're like your family...especially right now." I said

I continued to wheel myself to the rooms to reach Alex's room again and when I get there I see that Alex isn't in the room anymore. She's gone.

(I finally updated again and tomorrow I'll update again sorry for the delays like I said Senior year is crazy right now. But I hope you all liked this update sorry if it was boring and tell me what you thought about it and what you want to happen next. Love you all night(: and ooh before I forget Bad Teacher turned a year old this month! I never thought this fanfic would continue this long I love you guys so much!)
