Bad Teacher Part 62-Losing The Other Half Of Me.

Stephanie's POV

As the plane lands I get up with 9 other soldiers as we hold onto Zac's,Nick's,Riley's and Alex's Coffin I held onto the front bar of Alex's coffin as I was the first standing in the doorway. It was silent for a moment before the plane door opened revealing a entire crowd of people cheering for us I look to my right side as I stood onto those plane steps and I noticed Demi and all of her friends and family there she smiles at me and claps I look at her and our eyes lock and I give her a sympathetic look and I let my eyes water she notices and I see her smile lightly fade. As I turned around and grabbed the bottom of Alex's coffin I took the first few steps down the airplane's stairs then the rest of the soldiers followed as I took my final step we placed the coffins on a metal coffin holder I look at Demi and she's sobbing and I see one of her friends holding her I took a deep breath as I see Lieutenant Jason walk out last as he shuts the door of the plane and steps down we push the coffins and we have them next to each other in order. I look down at Alex's coffin to see her picture and her dog tags on top of the bouquet of roses in my thoughts I smiled I finally did it I killed her as I stared at her coffin I thought to myself

"Good Riddance." I said

We all grab the flags on top of the coffins and fold them I hold onto Alex's flag and stand in order with the rest  as Sargent Mason walks up and put's his hand over the flag and I see water in his eyes he pulls out a purple heart and gently places it on top of Alex's flag and salutes me I nod my head and I walk over to Demi to give her the last thing Alex will ever give her.

Demi's POV

When I saw Stephanie walk down holding a coffin my mind began to race and I began to sob I kept thinking

"It can't be Alex..She's safe, she's probably all the way in the back with the rest she has to be." I said to myself as 3 other coffins were lowered I see the last soldier standing in the plane doorway it was Lieutenant Jason he turns around and closes the door as he walks down the steps and salutes the other officers. I look at Stephanie and she looks down at the coffin and puts her hand over it gently I see her and another soldier fold the flag that was on top of it and I see one of the Sargent's walk up to Stephanie and he pulls out a medal and places it down on the flag Stephanie nods her head and she looks at me and walks towards me. I felt time stop everything kept moving slowly I felt Marissa hold onto me and I began to sob into her arms 

"No!...No! This can't be happening, This can't be fucking happening!" I yelled into her chest

"Demi..." Marissa said I look up and Stephanie hands me the folded flag with a purple heart medal on it she has tears in her eyes and she says

"Demi I'm sorry we did everything we could but there was nothing left that we could do..." she said

"I wan't to see her! Let me see her please." I look over and I see them roll away the coffins I push past Stephanie and I run towards Alex's coffin I hear Stephanie groan really loud trying hard not to make it sound loud I run as fast as I could and once I got closer I saw the flowers over her coffin with her picture I see the burned dog tags her dad gave her and I stop dead in my tracks I couldn't believe it I look at the other 3 coffins and I see Riley's picture, Zac and Nick's picture along with their jackets I fall on my knees and began sobbing I hear someone coming behind me and they wrap their arms around me I look up and it was Stephanie

"Demi you don't want to see anymore c'mon." she said

"I want to see her!" I yelled 

"Demi Trust me when I say you don't want to see that please!" she said I hold onto her uniform tight as I sobbed I looked back at Alex's coffin and I let go of Stephanie and ran to it again I look at it closer and I put my head over the top of Alex's Jacket that was placed on the coffin and sobbed
