Demi's POV
"It's about Alex....." Dallas said my heart was racing and my eyes began to water and I said
"Dallas please tell me..."
Dallas looked up behind me and I heard footsteps running inside slowly stopping behind me I didn't bother turning around because I wanted to know what Dallas knew about Alex until I heard a familiar voice behind me.
"Hey guys foods ready did I miss anything.?" Alex said
"Alex....is there anything you want to tell me.?" I said with my voice slightly cracking
Dallas's POV
When Alex walked in she saw the letter under my leg and her eyes widened I saw the fear and worry in her eyes and I knew I couldn't tell Demi it seemed pretty obvious that Alex was hiding this from her for a reason then Demi said
"Alex....is there anything you want to tell me.?" I saw panic on Alex's face then I spoke up and said
"I'm sorry Alex but Demi has to know.. about the surprise you have for her tomorrow" I said
"W-What.?" Alex said with a confused expression on her face
"The letter about all the surprises you have planned duh! I was sitting here and I found it and read your list of surprises for Demi then Demi walks in on me reading it and it's all ruined but I'll make sure she doesn't read the rest of it since she already knows about tomorrow I'm so sorry." I said
"You planned a surprise date for me tomorrow.?" Demi said with a smile on her face Alex is quite for a minute and she snaps out of her thoughts and says
"Y-Yeah! I do it's gonna be amazing Dallas agreed to babysit Jeremy while we have a magical night just the two of us." she said
"Awww oh my god babe it's going to be amazing I thought Dallas was going to tell me some bad news about you or something she literally almost gave me a heart attack." Demi said
"Yeah..I just came to get you two because the food is ready and we're all waiting it smells really good." Alex said with a smile
"Yeah let's go I can't wait for tomorrow babe! this is so amazing!" Demi said as she ran to Alex and hugged her tight. Once Demi leaves to go outside I walk towards Alex and said
"We're you going to tell her about this.?!" I said
"Dallas calm down I got it yesterday I was waiting for after you guys left to tell her I didn't want to stress her out even more." she said
"What do you mean stress her out even more.? and why did you sign up for this when you're with Demi and Jeremy you know how devastated they would be if something happened to you!" I yelled
"I signed up WAY before I met Demi and when I finally heard back from the program yesterday when I got home I was going to tell her but your mom called and said you guys were coming over and she was stressing over the fact that your parents wouldn't like Jeremy and you guys would hate her and I couldn't just throw this right at her too..Dallas please don't tell her it's best if she hears it from me." she said
I saw the worry in Alex's face like she was ready to breakdown I hugged her and said
"My lips are sealed but promise me one thing.?" I said she looks into my eyes and says
"Yeah...?" her voice was slightly shaking
"Promise me you'll comeback alive standing in uniform instead of...." I said as my voice was starting to crack before I can finish my sentence I felt Alex hug me tight and she said
