"Oh, wow, you're here-" Seokjin rolled his eyes as he threw down his backpack onto the couch. "I sure wasn't expecting it at all, considering you were with that first-love-childhood-sweetheart-blind-date-crush of yours. I thought you were gonna move there, get married and settle down there for the rest of your life, or something."

Byulyi narrowed her eyes. "What's that supposed to mean?"

"Nah, nothing-" Seokjin swallowed hard, trying to hold in his inexplicable anger. "Just saying. You must have had a lot of fun back in Bucheon."

"Yeah, I did."

"You did?" Seokjin heaved. "Well, good for you."

"Well, thanks...?" Byulyi eyed Seokjin suspiciously, wondering why he looked like he was about to pass out. "How about you? Was Nami fun?"

"Of course it was fun-" Seokjin lied through his teeth. It hadn't actually been fun at all - he had spent every waking our cursing Byulyi out in his head for hanging up on him with the phone call... just for that first love of hers. So what if he was her first love? Is he that big of a deal? "I had the best time of my life."

"Oh, really?" Byulyi raised her eyebrows in surprised "It was really that fun? I never knew Nami Island had that many things to do."

"There weren't many things to do, but it's the company that counts, isn't it?" Seokjin sneered. "I had a great heart-to-heart talk with Jieun-ie last night. You think you're the only one who can have fun?"

Byulyi was appalled. "What's wrong with you? Why are you acting all prickly since yesterday on the phone?"

"Oh, so you remember the phone call after all, huh?" Seokjin rolled his eyes. "You hung up on me so fast I thought that you completely forgot about it the moment you put down the phone."

"Ya-" Byulyi clucked her tongue agitatedly. "I only hung up on you so abruptly because you were being so unexplainably rude! What got into you? I always knew you were kinda weird and mean, but you had never spoken to me in such a disrespectful manner before. You were impossible to talk to, that's why I had no choice but to hang up on you-"

"I'm impossible to talk to?" Seokjin scoffed. "Wow, it must be such a dread for you to live with someone like me, then. You know what? I'm done."

"Must you really talk to me like that?" Byulyi heaved. "I haven't seen you in over a day! I was upset about what you said over the phone at first, but I thought that as long as you came home and apologised to me nicely, I'd forgive you."

"Me? Apologise to you? For what?" Seokjin inhaled sharply. "For interrupting your date? Oh, wow - I'm so sorry. I'm so sorry for interrupting your date, Moon Byulyi-ssi. Will you forgive me?"

"I already said it's not about that!" Byulyi raised her voice. "It's about your tone of voice on the phone - the exact same tone of voice you're using to speak to me right now!"

"My tone of voice? What's wrong with my tone of voice? This has always been the way I've spoken."

"No, it isn't!"

"Yes, it is!"

"You weren't like that before."
