Nakahinga ako nang maluwag nng unti-unti ko nang makita ang pagbalik ng lakas ni Drake. He's slowly regaining his color and strength. Nang matapos itong uminom ng dugo mula sa akin ay agad pumasok sa aking isip si Mama.

Lumingon ako s gawi ni Kuya Zion na sinusubukang tignan kung ayos ba anh lahat. "K-Kuya, we need to help Mama," nag-aalala 'kong banggit dito. Agad naman akong binalingan ng tingin nito habang nakakunot ang kaniyang mga noo. "Stay with them. Bring Mom and Dad back home. I'll go help Mama," utos ko rito at nagsimula nang tumakbo palapit sa pasukan ng kuweba.

"Eunice! You need to rest! You're still not fully healed. Baka ano pang mangyari sa'yo." Kuya Zion blocked me from entering the cave.

"Kuya, I need to help Mama," pagpupumilit ko at sinubukan siyang lagpasan.

Muli niya akong hinarang at hindi pinayagang makalapit. "I'll help her. Just go and rest, Eunice," sabi ni Kuya.

Napatingin ako sa kaniya. I let out a deep breath before giving up. "Please don't let anything happen to her, Kuya. Please bring her back safely," pagmamakaawa ko rito.

He immediately nodded and gave me a small smile. "I will. But I need you be safe first. So, go back home with them," utos ni Kuya at tinalikuran na ako.

I watched him enter the cave and once his back can't be seen anymore, I also turned my back and walked towards the others. Alessia was helping Mom get up on her feet. While, Kuya Nick lifted Dad up on his shoulder

Pinuntahan ko si Drake at tinulungan itong makatayo. He groaned when I tried to pull him up. "Sorry. You okay?" tanong ko rito

"Y-Yeah," he said and stood up.

Hinayaan ko siyang umakbay sa akin. "Don't lean your whole weight on me. Baka mahulog tayo," I said and laughed softly. As much as I want to help and carry him, I'm still not as strong as pure vampires are.

"Yeah, don't worry I won't."

Nagsimula na kaming maglakad lahat palayo sa kuweba. "We can go to one of our relatives house. It's closer," ani Mom. Our house is far away from here. The small village is full of Mom and Dad's friends and relatives. Hindi ko alam kung bakit humiwalay pa sila ng bahay.

"We can go to my house po. It's close just like the village. I can also heal you there," Alessia suggested.

"Okay, what works best for you," Mom said and smiled.

We all walked to Alessia's house. When we got there, Kuya Nick immediately placed Dad on the couch, making him lay on the couch comfortably. "I'll just get Tita upstairs. I'll see what I can do to heal Tito," sabi ni Alessia at hinatid si Mom sa taas.

I made Drake sit on one of the chairs and looked for some blood bags. "Kuya, where are the extra blood bags we have here?" tanong ko habang naghahanap sa loob ng sala.

"It's upstairs. I'll just get it," sagot nito. Tumango ako at binalikan si Drake na nasa upuan.

I kneeled in front of him and looked at his face. Nakatungo ito dahil medyo nanghihina pa rin. "Hey, I have a few blood bags for you. I think we still have two, is that enough for you?" I asked and touched his face. He leaned his head on my hand as I caressed his cheek.

"That's enough for me," mahina niyang sagot.

Napatingin ako kay Kuya nang lumapit ito sa amin na may hawak na dalawang blood bags. "Yan nalang ang natitira. Hope that it's already enough for him," Kuya Nick said and gave me the blood bags.
