"Girl I can't believe it costs so much to rent a damn building." I walked into Melanie's room

I got off early and decided to call around and try to find a photography studio to rent out, but everything is way above my price range.

"No luck?" She asked

"No." I groaned, plopping on her bed "I am soooo tired. What you watching?"

"The Old Guard. Now hush." She stared at the tv

"I'm about to leave out anyway."

"Where you going?" She paused the movie

"To get food."

"Wit' Chris?" A wide grin spread on her face "Y'all been hanging out a lot lately."

"So?"

"Mhm, don't bring home no babies."

"Girl, goodbye." I rolled my eyes, getting off her bed

*

"Stop, Chris." I chuckled, feeling his arms snake around my waist from behind

"You look good." He whispered in my ear before kissing on my neck

"Thank you, so do you." I unwrapped his arms

His body on mine had me heating up in the best way possible.

"Then stop moving me, Ma." He placed them back around me

I chuckled, shaking my head. "Next." The lady in the Smoothie Shack called

We made our orders then sat at a table waiting for them.

"So tell me about tattooing. What made you like it?"

"I'ma artsy typa' nigga." He smiled "I enjoy drawing my feelings and other people's feelings. So I decided why not add some ink to it." He shrugged

"When can I see some of your work?"

"Well I did majority of my tats. Like the ones on my arms and some on my legs."

"Really? They're amazing Chris." My eyes examined his arms

"Thanks. You should let me do you sometime." He smirked, propping his elbows on the table

"Mmm, maybe one day."

"You scared?"

"Psh no." I fanned him off "Ok a lil' bit."

He chuckled and grabbed my hand "I'll be gentle with you." He rubbed his thumb over the back of my hand

I tried so hard not to blush, but I couldn't help it. I shook my head, covering my face with my free hand.

"Damn" he bit his lower lip "Look at that. Effortlessly fine as hell."

"You such a playa'." I rolled my eyes, playfully pulling my hand free

"Far from it. I'm actually a real lova' boy."

"...Oh look, our food." I changed the subject, feeling awkward "I love this place. The food is always bussin'."

"Bussin', huh?" He smirked "I'ma hold you to 'dat."

"I promise, you gone love it."

He picked up his burrito, taking a small bite. I watched and waited for his reaction, eating my jerk chicken taco.

"Damn girl. If yo' cooking anything like yo' taste in food, I'ma have to marry you." He covered his mouth with a closed fist, finishing off his first bite

"Mm, I just might have to cook for you then." I joked

Omniscient

Once they got back to his place, they couldn't keep their hands off one another. Dates and sex had become natural to them. They were almost like a couple...almost.

"Fuuuuck" Chris gripped her hips going even deeper

Erin clutched the sheets, throwing her ass to match his steady rhythm.

"Mmm!" Her muffled moans began to escape as she laid on the side of her face

Her back caved in even more, signaling she was nearing her peak.

From behind, she felt him lean down. Seconds later, his wet tongue was slithering up her back. She began panting softly, feeling like her soul was escaping her body.
Chris licked up Erin's entire back, leaving occasional wet kisses and making sure to give her slow, deep strokes while sucking her neck.

"Damn." He breathed in the crook of her neck

She felt his strong arms wrap around her body. His strokes got quicker, making her shake as they both reached their third orgasm.  Ecstasy overtook over them so strong it's like time slowed.

After getting cleaned up, they cuddled up in bed to watch A Jazzman's Blues

"Erin." He called, seeing her slowly blink

"Hm?" she tiredly mumbled into his chest

"I was thinkin' you should stay hea' tonight."

"I can call an Uber if you don't feel like taking me."

"What?"He chuckled deeply "No, I want you to stay. You fallin' asleep anyway."

"I don't know. I don't even have-"

"Stop making excuses, I'll get whatever you need."

"Chriiis" She whined with her eyes closed

"Come on, I'm tryna' take you up on'nat cooking offer in da' morning, Ma." He pulled her close, kissing on her neck

"Ok."she gave in, rolling her eyes "I'll watch the movie another time." She turned over, preparing to go to sleep

Chris looked at her before pausing it and cuddling her from behind. He felt her tense up and he smiled against her skin.

"Relax. I ain't gone hurt you." He pecked her cheek before closing his eyes

After a few seconds her body adjusted in his arms. They laid there cuddled up, resting. It gave them both a sense of calmness.

They both came from broken relationships with horrible exes, so them being around each other was just the thing they needed. It was so unproblematic and peaceful just going with the flow of things.

These unpublished chapters are juicyyyy. I be shocked rereading them and I'm the one who wrote it.
