Part 1: Placing of Pawns

The Eye watches, the sea churns,

The dragon rides, and Trevan crawls.

The short-sighted lordlings try to reach higher and higher,

Ever ignorant that to their demise they are nearer and nearer,

For fate, the ultimate master has an hand to play too,

As the true victor thrives ever in sight but still incognito.

The lords placing their pawns trying to make their victories kindle,

Ever oblivious that it is the common folk who most dwindle.
