Make the first date the best💕

Luz and Amity have been dating for two weeks, the girls were just hanging out when all of a sudden confessions were made and they agreed to start dating! Even tho they have been dating, they had never had a real date. Luz, being the hopeless romantic she was, had something great planned for Amity.
With a great deal of planning and shopping, the perfect date was set up for Amity! Luz set everything up to perfection and went back to the owl house.
Luz wrote multiple cards, with different locations on them and planted them for Amity to find.
8 p.m. arrives and the sun has gone down, nothing lighting the night but the moon. Amity was sitting in her room, bored and fidgety. Her empty thoughts were brought to a stop when she heard a knock at her front door. She lazily went downstairs to see who was there. She opened the door, but no one was there. There was just a single red card. Amity picked it up and began to read.
"Go get something nice on. And go to The Owl House."
Amity didn't question, assuming it was from Luz. Amity went upstairs and put on a nice pink wool sweater with some black jeans. She put on her boots and headed out to the Owl House.
Amity walked in the dark and The Owl House was soon in sight. Approaching the front door Amity prepared your knock when Hooty suddenly popped up.
"Hey Amity! Here ya go!"
Hooty coughed up a orange card into Amity's hand. It was slightly damp but still able to be read.
"You look beautiful! Go to Lake Lacuna for your next card!"
Amity smiled and made her way to the lake. Tied to a tree with a pretty white ribbon was a yellow card.
"Don't forget to smile! Go to the Grugby  field for your next card!"
With every other location was a new card and a small but impactful compliment. Amity made her was to her next location.
The edge of the woods. Tied to the largest tree was a purple card that smelled like flowers.
"Hello again lovely! Please follow the path for your next location ❤️"
Amity pocketed the following card and looked around for a moment before an enchanting path of candles lit a straight path into the woods. Amity trusted Luz so she followed.
The deeper into the path she got, the happier she became. Her path was soon littered with rose petals.
In the distance Amity spotted the cherry blossom tree they had made together during Grom. Standing I front of the tree was Luz. Thousands of lights hung from the tree, making the pink blossoms glow beautifully.
Amity put her hand to her mouth, awe struck at how amazing this was. Amity walked up the hill to the tree, each step more eager than the last.
Amity and Luz soon came face to face with one another. Luz was wearing a black button up shirt with some jeans and her usual sneakers. She also took the effort to comb her hair back!
"Amity Blight. You have made it to your final location."
Luz handed Amity a baby pink card in a overly formal way.
Amity read the card with the most love she has ever felt.
"Te amo, Amity."
Amity looked a little confused before Luz chimed in.
"It means I love you, Amity."
Luz kissed Amity's cheek and put the card on the ground.
Luz ran beside the tree for a moment and soon returned. Slow music began playing and Luz offered her hand to Amity.
"May I have this dance?"
Amity giggled and took Luz's hand. Luz put her hand to Amity's waist and Amity's hand to Luz's shoulder. The girls began dancing to the slow music even tho neither of them knew how to slow dance, they just sorta held one another and swayed to the music.
"This is so beautiful Luz. Thank you."
Amity rested her head on Luz's shoulder and planted cute and gentle kisses on her shoulder.
"I thought you deserved a little something and this was the best I can me up with in such little time."
"Well it's perfect!"
Amity and Luz were both incredibly happy to be in that spot with one another. The stars and the moon shining brightly above them, the lights in the tree dimming slightly.
It was perfect. Everything was just perfect. Nothing more nothing less. All they wanted was to be with one another and that was what they got.
