A Dangerous Encounter

Riddhima's POV:

I came out of the washroom wiping my hair and looked towards the bed only to see Vansh sleeping peacefully just like a child. I shook my head looking at his face. He is looking so innocent. Looking at him right now no one could even think that he has so much pain and anger inside him. 

I shook my head startled as he opened his eyes all of a sudden and first looked at me and then looked around confused. I kept on looking at him curious about what he is doing.  He sat down on the bed and rubbed his eyes looking around. I smiled slightly looking at him. He is actually looking cute. 

Vansh: What?

I came out of my thoughts looking at him startled as he looked at me raising his eyebrows. Shit!! What was I doing? Did I really call him cute? And I really think that he look innocent? 

Riddhima: Nothing. I think Dadi called my name.

I told him and ran out of the room after getting ready. I came downstairs running and looked back trying to assure myself that Vansh didn't follow me. I am too embarrassed by my thoughts. I mean how could I think him cute and innocent? This is just ridiculous. 

Dadi: Riddhima!! What's wrong child? Why are you running like this?

I stopped baffled only to see Dadi standing in front of me confused. I looked around and saw Aryan, Ishani, Siya and Mom looking at me amused. Oh god!! I took a deep breath and smiled at Dadi slightly. I can't actually tell her that I am running away from her grandson. 

Aryan: May be she got scared looking at Bhai's face first thing in the morning.

I heard Aryan's voice and looked at him confused. Is he mad or what? Why would I be scared looking at Vansh's face? In fact he actually looked good. I shook my head coming out of my weird thoughts. I am going mad for sure. 

Riddhima: No!! I... I thought I got late.

I said gulping nervously. What the hell am I talking about? And why am I behaving like an idiot?

Dadi: No Riddhima. You are not late.

Dadi said kissing my forehead and I nodded at her smiling. Everyone would think me mad if I keep on behaving like this. This Vansh is not good for my mind. I should stay away from that man.

Aryan: Its not as if you have to go to office or anything.

I rolled my eyes hearing Aryan's voice again. I just don't understand that if his voice is annoying or is it just me that felt him annoying. 

Anupriya: But Vansh has to. Today is your first day Riddhima. Go to kitchen and make something.

I heard Mom's voice and saw her looking at me all serious. I sighed feeling weird. Now I have to make something for Vansh. I just hope I don't have to make him eat too. I am not going to come in front of him, at least not till I manage to control my weird thoughts about him. 

Siya: I think you should make Kheer bhabhi, Vansh bhai loves it.

I looked at Siya startled as she grinned looking at me. I nodded and moved towards the kitchen to make Kheer.

After I turned off the gas stove I turned around only to see Mom coming inside the kitchen. Now what does she want? Don't tell me I have to prepare food too.
