Chapter 12 - Drive!!

" Siddhaarth. " I sang shouted while grinning ear to ear. Nice name. It rolled out to smoothly.

Fuck. It feels good to be happy. I realised it today .

I saw his head snap at me into a lightning speed and I motioned him to come in the car with a pout on my face.

He quickly walked , sat in the car and buckled up. I grabbed the steering, smile not leaving my lips.

Shehnaz are you nuts, why did you drive. Driver tha naa. Kuch sahi se kar sakti ho. Pata hai kitni expensive car hai. From now. Never. I am repeating so keep it in your small head. Never ever even try to touch my cars. Driving aati nahi...steering wheel handle hota nahi....par drive karna hai . Ranveer voice rang in my ears making me loosen the grip on the steering wheel. The rare upward curve on my lips fell.

" Shehnaz. " I heard a voice and my head snap at him.

Ohh God!! My name sounded so good....The way he said it stretching the z.

" Kya hua. Drive. " He said raising his eyebrows .

" I can't. " I said.

I haven't drove from almost past three years and the last I drove I destroyed the car. What if his car get damaged. Noo.

" Jhut kyu bol rahi hai. Terko aati hai. Teri excitement bata rahi hai. Kar na. " He said.

What is this man. How does he knows everything.

" Mene teen saal se nahi chalae, accident ho gaya aur gadi ko kuch ho gaya toh. " I said turning to him making him laugh.

What. He laughed. Why.

" Terko gadi ki padi hai. Accident hua toh hum marr bhi sakte hai. Uska kuch nahi. " He laughed loudly.

I bit my tongue. Stupid sana.
" Nahi mera matlab, chotu saa. Thuk gayi toh. " I said

" Ok. Ok. Sun aab .... kuch nahi hoga. Main terko na hi iss car ko kuch hone dunga.  Aur agar kahi thuk bhi gayi toh koi baat nahi, ho jati hai galti. Zaruri hai ki main drive karu toh kuch nahi hoga aur tum karo toh hoga. Hum dono insaan hai, dono se galati hona lazmi hai.  I know you can. Go for it. Chalo." He said assuring me.

His words strangely soothing my wounds and filling up my confidence back.

I can . Main toh kuch bhi kar sakti hu. My heart screamed.

" Hmm. " I nodded and pulled on the engine.

The car runs smoothly on the roads. My hands and feet working on the steering and the accelerator filled me with happiness.

" You know what you are so lucky that you got those keys. I am very possesive about my things and this car tops the list. " He said amusing me.

" Sachi. You know main bhi aisi hi hun, agar ye meri car hoti toh main kisi ko naa dun. Meri chiz sirf meri. Main toh jis halat main hu... Kisi aur ko main bethne hi naa dun. Muje toh laga aapko itna pyaar nahi cars se. " I voiced my love for cars and my opinion about his.

" Main bhi nahi bethne deta. " He said shocking me.

" Toh mujhe kyu. " I asked my eyes still on the road.

" Tumne aapni secret place share ki, toh socha I can too share the car, just for a drive . " He said.

Hmm. Make sense.

" Jii. Vese thankyou. Pata hai muje gadiyon se itna pyaar ha naa kya bataun. " I said.

" Muje bhi. Range Rover, meri favorite hai. " He said in an excited tone.

He look such a child, when excited.

" Hayee. Meri bhi. " I said turning to him.

"Gadhi.. Aage dekh. " He shrieked.

He called me gadhi. How can he. My brain shouted. Do you mind. My conscience asked me.

It was not insulting. It was cute. My subconscious mind whispered to me. But he can't . My brain retorted.

" Kutta " I scoffed and hastily focussing back on the road.

He broke into fits of laugher and so did I.

Ohhh!!! It's feels so damn good. Driving and laughing. Feel like ages.
