The receptionist brings us to the back and introduces us to all the animals. A beagle comes up to me instantly, licking my face. "I think we found our puppers, what do you think Lils?" Bentley kneels down, puts one hand on my back and pets the dog with the other. I look up at him, "I think so too." A black, orange and white cat comes towards Bentley. It begins to rub itself onto his pant leg.

"Why don't we get a dog and cat? That way we are both happy and have more babies to love," I say as I look up at Bentley.

"Are you sure?"

"Of course! Get the cat Lee. It's clear you are infuriated with each other," I laugh.

As we fill out the forms, the receptionist tells us what is needed to have our pets. We quickly fill out the forms so we can bring home our new babies.

Once we are settled in the car, we make our way to our small house. "What are you thinking for names?" I ask as we make a left turn. "I was thinking Calypso for the cat and Brady for the dog."

"I like those names. Let's use them!" I smile.

*******************************************************************************************

It's been a week since we brought home Brady and Calypso. For the most part it's been a really good transition for them. However, there have been some situations like right now that drives me crazy.

"Lee, Brady has got my necklace that my father got me for Christmas in his mouth! Help me catch him please!" I yell from the living room. Bentley comes running from the bedroom. Both of us have our bodies like we are football players. Bentley jumps towards Brady but misses and falls on the ground as Brady escapes to the kitchen. I chase after him. "Why do you even need that necklace, you hate it anyways," I hear from the living room. I follow Brady around the island, "because my father is coming over tonight and I have to wear his gift so that he's happy." I leap forward and finally catch Brady. I grab the necklace from his mouth and let him go.

"Plus I really don't need to hear from my dad about how ungrateful I am or how I don't dress womanly enough. Cause we already know he's going to comment on you and our relationship. How naïve I am to live with you and to get pets with you," I rant. "And I'm hoping that some of the negativity will be focused on Richie since he recently quit his job two months ago."

"Yeah, I think you should wear the necklace. Keep the ridicule off me please," Bentley responds with a smile.

When Bentley and I first started dating, we kept it a secret until we moved in with each other after seven months of dating. Let's just say my parents were not very happy about it. They thought I was irresponsible for moving in with him. But they had no idea how in love with each other we were. Maybe they were right that it was too fast for us to move in with each other. But our whole relationship has been fast paced since the beginning. We met at a party, went on our first date the next day. Said I love yous at three weeks of dating. Became official two weeks after meeting. Our first kiss happened the night we met. The first time we slept together was the day after we became official. Our love was and is fast paced from the beginning. My parents will never understand that.

My parents broke off all communication with me for almost a year after I moved in. The only communication I had with my family was with my brother Richie. Him and Bentley are the reason I was able to make it through that period of no contact with my parents.

Richie was the one who was able to make it possible for my parents to finally talk to me again. Saying that they would miss out on seeing their future grandchildren. Plus they were in the middle of a divorce and wanted me to pick a side. Too bad my dad refused to sign the papers.
