She's always loved heights; it's her favourite place. The high levels gave her a reason to loosen up and think without anything getting in the way. As she leans on the side of the bridge, she looks at the clear blue sky. The clouds up above shape into strange figures, one of them looks like a heart.

The breeze is very windy and cold, but the sun is still out. She takes the view all in, the fresh smell of the water just below. As she turns around, she hears the traffic racing across the bridge. She feels like she was getting whiplash, focusing on the number of cars that passed her. She thinks about jumping in front of the car then realizes the faces on the innocent people driving towards her. She thinks of her father when he was driving before the accident; she knows she doesn't want to pressure the drivers, having to go through that like the way she did watch her family die one by one.

She feels the guilt get stronger and stronger. Her heart beats faster than it normally should be. Her knees trembling below. She tries to make them stop, but she can't control them. It gets hard for her to stand as she falls to her knees. She feels the aching tension in her legs as her knees hit the cold hard concrete. She could feel dead skin falling off her legs. She looks at the graze on her knee, and it's slightly bleeding.

She sits on her backside with her legs crossed, watching the boats in the water through the holes in the bridge. She doesn't know what she is doing so she sits there waiting for an explanation. She takes off her bag that's on her back and opens the zipper. She looks through her bag, slowly putting her hand in the bag pulling out of her water bottle out of it. She shakes the bottle to find out if there was any water left. The water bottle is half full. She opens the lid and places the bottle to her lips; she drinks the water quickly but instantly starts choking on the water. She drank the water too quickly that the water went down the wrong hole, causing her to choke. She places a hand on her chest; she glances at the water, knowing she has experienced that feeling before, but she had no idea where. She starts to think about the times she has choked on the water once before. She looks up at the sky and realizes the clouds have changed shape.

The clouds now look like a car. She remembered where she had had that experience; it was in the car accident. She soon got brought back to that spot once again and soon began to blame herself. She stands up and leans over the bridge railing. She takes off her shoes and jacket and begins to climb up onto the railing and over onto the other side. She looks down and wants to jump. She wants to give herself the punishment that she deserves.

A car stops and a young man jumps out of the car.

"Miss, are you alright," the guy called out.

She turns her head and looks at him. The guy looks familiar like he was someone from his past. She looks at how worried he is. She feels bad, but she turns her head back and stares back at the ocean.

"Yeah, I'm okay," she calls back out.

"You are standing on the other side of the bridge; I'm pretty sure you are not okay".

She looks back at him as she makes her fingers slips and she's holding on by her other hand. The young man races over. He sees her hanging on, he acts quickly, instantly holding onto her other hand, her second-hand slips, making it harder for him to pull her up. She screams at him, and he uses all his strength to hold her up.

"Please don't drop me," she screams at him.

"I'm trying my best, just a little bit further".

He pulls her up as he falls over and she lands on top. They look into each other's eyes for a while. The crowd pours in. she gets off the ground and helps him up. They are still looking at each other in awkward silence as the crowd gets louder. He pulls her aside away from the noise.
