Amelia sits on the front porch as she watches the sunrise. The burning sun pressing up against her face, breathing so heavily. She places her hand gently around her phone as she picks it up and holds it. The picture of her twins all snuggled up in their father's arms at the hospital. A tear rolls down her face remembering what Timothy had said at the hospital as she buries her head between her legs, letting all her emotion out.

A car drives past the house just as she looks up. The car is the same car Oliver had before he sold it to get another boat. Everything reminded her of him, especially when one of her twins looks identical to him. She hasn't seen Oliver since the day she gave birth to the twins. He took off home and hasn't answered a single message she has sent him. Amelia has sent him pictures of the twins, but he's only read the message and not replied. She would always stalk his profile to see if he had moved on, but his profile never changed from Heather. Heather was his one true love, and now he has lost her as well as his two children. Amelia could never forgive herself for getting on that boat because it cost them a life, Heather's life. She blames herself for getting involved with Oliver in the first place. It's taught her not to trust anyone ever again.

The sounds of birds chirping around her and the cars' screeching in other streets made her realize how lonely she is. No sound coming from her house. The mailman came halfway up the driveway to stick mail in her mailbox. She walks up to him as he sticks the mail in the slot.

"Good morning miss," he says.

She nods her head as she takes out the mail, another bill. She stumbles up to the porch and sits on the chair. The baby monitor sits right next to her; the twins were still sound asleep. She was up all night trying to get them both asleep. She's moved both of the cots in her room, so she didn't have to walk too far to check on them. Just as she looks away from the baby monitor, one of the twins awake and screams the whole house down. Amelia runs up the stairs to where Dimitri is. He stops crying as soon as he saw his mother. Minnie wakes up and starts to let out a plaintive cry.

Both of them crying at the same time makes her feel uncomfortable. She sits down in the corner of the room and cries a little herself. She sticks her head between her legs. As she lowers her head to her knees, she holds tightly to her legs. The twins squeal louder than ever. Amelia hears footsteps coming up the stairs. April notices Amelia sitting in the corner and hear the Twins crying. She rushes over to them to try and calm them down. April looks over at Amelia, feeling sorry for her. She has two children to look after, and all she thinks about is the mistakes she has made and how she might not be capable of looking after the twins herself.

After April has put the twins back to sleep, she sits beside her best friend and cuddles her. April helps her up and takes her downstairs to get a drink of water. They sit at the table together, trying her best to calm Amelia down. She places the baby monitor right next to her as she watches Amelia catch her breath. April reaches out and holds her hands to calm her down, but all Amelia could think about is how much she misses Oliver. She remembers the good times they had in the house and that moment that had on the island. She so desperately wanted to get back together but now that he wants nothing to do with her. Amelia is alone with no family to support her, the only person she has is her best friends April, but she can't rely on her to help out. She needs to figure out how to fight for her two babies.
