"I don't know... Does it say if it is a Rookie or a Master Class tournament?" asked Serena.

"Let me take a look..." said Dawn.

Dawn looks carefully to the screen.

"It doesn't say anything..." said Dawn.

"Hm... Let's ask Nurse Joy about this..." said Serena.

"That's a good idea..." said Dawn.

Dawn and Serena went to the reception.

They are greeted by Nurse Joy.

"Welcome to the Pokémon Center, how may I help you today?" asked Nurse Joy.

"Hi Nurse Joy!" said Serena, smiling.

"We wanted to know more about a showcase that is said to happen in the Johto Region..." said Dawn.

"Oh, of course!" said Nurse Joy, smiling.

"People were amazed by a performer that travelled through some cities performing with two of her friends... Seeing the success of this event with everyone, they decided to host a Tournament here..." said Nurse Joy.

"Oh..." said Serena.

"Do you know the name of the performer?" asked Dawn.

"Sure! Her name is Serena, they say that a video of her is available at Pokévision but I don't check there very often so I haven't seen it yet..." said Nurse Joy.

"So are you two interested in entering the tournament?" asked Nurse Joy.

"I'm not, but my friend is!" said Dawn, poinitng to Serena.

Serena blushes lightly.

"That's cool! What's your name for me to cheer for you?" asked Nurse Joy.

"My name is Serena..." said Serena, blushing lightly.

"Oh, you've got the same name as the performer that everyone liked! That's cool..." said Nurse Joy, smiling.

"Have you guys watched the video?" asked Nurse Joy.

"No!" said Dawn.

"I have..." said Serena.

"Did you like it?" asked Nurse Joy.

"Y... Y... Yes..." said Serena, laughing nervously.

"Why don't we see it together?" asked Dawn, smiling.

"That's a good idea!" said Nurse Joy.

"Are you coming?" asked Dawn.

"I guess so..." said Serena, blushing.

Dawn, Serena and Nurse Joy went to see Serena's video on pokévision.

They start to see the video.

Serena is blushing hard.

They end the video.

"It really is too beautiful!" said Nurse Joy, smiling.

"Ah... I wish I could see it in person..." said Nurse Joy.

"What about you guys?" asked Nurse Joy, looking to Serena.

Something clicks on Nurse Joy's head.

"You are the same person as in the video!" said Nurse Joy.

"Kind of..." said Serena, smiling nervously.

"So you must be one of her friends that are travelling with her... Everyone is talking about you three in the Johto region!" said Nurse Joy.

"I'm her friend... But I highly doubt that the Johto region is talking about us..." said Dawn, smiling nervously.

"What about the third girl? Where did she go?" asked Nurse Joy.

"She went on a journey with her boyfriend..." said Dawn.

"Aww! That's so cute..." said Nurse Joy.

"It sure is..." said Serena.

"So, are you really going to enter the tournament?" asked Nurse Joy.

"Of course! It's going to be a Rookie Class one since it's the first of the region, right?" asked Serena.

"Yes!" said Nurse Joy.

"So, I will be there for sure!" said Serena, looking determined.

Nurse Joy smiles.

"But where is it going to be?" asked Serena.

"It's going to be near here... in Goldenrod City, actually..." said Nurse Joy.

"Oh... Very near indeed..." said Serena.

"Do you know when it's going to happen?" asked Serena.

"In a couple of weeks!" said Nurse Joy, smiling.

"So, I think we're going to have quite sometime to practice, haven't we?" asked Dawn.

"I think so..." said Serena.

"Do you know somewhere that will host a Contest near Goldenrod City?" asked Dawn.

"I think Olivine is going to host a friendly one... But as every friendly tornament, no prize will be awarded..." said Nurse Joy.

"That's fine... When is it going to start?" asked Dawn.

"Tomorrow..." said Nurse Joy.

"So we better hurry up!" said Dawn.

"Thanks, Nurse Joy!" said Dawn.

Dawn leaves the pokécenter.

"Dawn! Wait for me!" said Serena.

"Thanks Nurse Joy!" said Serena.

"No problem! I'll cheering for you in the tournament!" said Nurse Joy.

"Thanks!" said Serena, leaving the pokécenter.

Serena manages to catch up with Dawn.

"Why did you leave without me!?" asked Serena.

"Because I don't want to miss it!" said Dawn.

"But it's on the next city! We'll have enough time..." said Serena.

"The earlier the better!" said Dawn.

Serena looks unimpressed.

They head their way to Olivine City.
