Chapter 26: Lets get this party started!

Murdoc's pov:

I woke up to the kid snuggling me in my sleep. I hadn't said anything since he said 'I love you' last night. I pretended I was asleep. Sure, maybe that was a bad idea but I couldn't just blurt it out considering how he reacted last time I said it.

I pulled my arm off of his stomach and ran to Noodle's room. She smiled lightly while covering herself with her duvet. "Hi, Murdoc!" She beamed as I sat on the foot of her bed.

"Hey baby girl. I need some help..." I scratched at my neck and looked at her as she sat up

"With?" she she asked

"Me and the song bird uhhh" I tried to think of a way  to say 'had sex' without feeling dirty. Something about talking about this with her made me feel icky.

"Had sex last night? Yeah I know!" she giggled and covered her head quickly as I threw a pillow at her

"Naughty! How did you know?" I asked

"You two were uhm... pretty loud." She giggled once more and covered her red face with her hands.

"Right, enough of that. I need to ask him to be my... whatever" I said while trying not to make eye contact.

"YOUR BOYFRIEND?!" she yelped and jumped on my back, her arms around my neck

"Oh my God! Murdoc-san that's amazing! Of course I'll help you!"

"No! Don't use that word. Also, don't get too happy about this. I don't even know if he's gonna say yes"

"Of course he will! C'mon let's go ask Russell to help!" she ran to the door before I quickly shut it

"Absolutely not! He's gonna think I've gone soft!" I exclaimed

"Yeah about that..." she trailed off and fidgeted with her fingers

"What?"

"He already knows you've gone soft!" she ran out of the room and into Russell's

~~time skip~~

"Alright. You guys know the plan?" Russ said while walking down the stairs.

"Yes sir!" Noodle exclaimed while hiding behind the stair case

They're acting like this is operation 007...

"Yeah yeah whatever" I said while flailing my hand and making my way into the kitchen

There was the song bird, facing the counter and looking at two cereal boxes, like he was trying to figure out which one to use. I walked up to quietly and put my hands around his waist

"Hey stu" I whispered into his ear as I wrapped my arms around his stomach and laid my chin on his shoulder

"Hey mudz!" he placed one of the cereal boxes down and touched my hair before gasping.

"Noodle and Russ are gonna see!" he tried pushing me away but I hugged him tighter.

"So let them" I smiled and kissed his cheek before sitting at the dining room table. I watched as he poured the milk and hummed lightly to himself. His eyes lit up at everything. He looked so adorable

"You're so adorable, faceache" I said with my head resting in my hand.

"Hey! Don't call me that!" he pouted as he sat down next to me. I stood up and kissed him on the head, his eyes closing and a smile growing on his face as I did so

"Or what, blue bird?" I groaned and smiled at him.

"I'm gonna have to..." He trailed off before jumping to his feet
