[No one's POV]

The villain released a bone-chilling cry as it  slumped down, beaten by the Wonder Duo. His crime days are over, fire-breathing spent, scrapes and faint burn marks littering his body. He was done, conscience almost lost as he fell down. Deku smiled, slightly limping over and throwing himself into Ground Zero's arms, pecking his lips at if to refuel his draining energy. His boyfriend gave him a small smile, taking the smaller boy's weight and hugging him closer. The villain was quick so it definitely used most of Izuku's stamina, almost to the point that when he had stopped, his limbs were lead, preventing him from even lifting his arms up. Katsuki patted his fluffy hair, assuring him that he had done a good job and all was done. It was no doubt an aggressive and difficult fight, Katsuki escaping with a cut leg and a large gash on his chest, Izuku with a burned cheek. It was the greenette that had won the duel in the end, but Katsuki had pushed equally as hard. 

The two of them were too busy hugging each other to notice the villain pull out a black tracker device, hitting the SOS button and sending his location before passing out. 

"Kacchan, when we get home, can we snuggle?" Izuku mumbled against Katsuki's lips, eyes half-lidded, causing the older one to blush slightly, smiling at the adorable sight in front of him before nuzzling his nose lovingly against his neck.

"We can do whatever we want when we get home, just let me report back to the agency to pick up the villain and we can go home. Ok nerd?" Izuku smiled sweetly before leaning against Katsuki's chest, allowing him to talk into his earpiece. "Hey," Katsuki's gruff voice was back, growling angrily, tickling the cinnamon roll with his vibrations. "We got the villain. We can't restrain him yet, so I trust you to bring forces to take him into custody. You better get the police here soon, or I'll..."

Katsuki's words were stuck in his throat. Heck, he couldn't even remember them. Just as he looked up from his boyfriend, he noticed the huge number of villains wading forward from afar in front of him, the flames that hadn't been doused before now spreading like wildfire, licking up the old buildings and rubble, making the villain's shadows look warped and intimidatingly huge.

He hugs tighter, almost crushing Izuku, who has a slight idea on how Katsuki was feeling, heart quickening against his cheek. Katsuki is scared. Something was going to happen. Ground Zero braced himself, ready to quickly say what he needed to for the command centre.

"Change of plan..." he took in a shaky breath. "Bring in reinforcements fast!" Izuku didn't feel exhausted anymore, eyes wide with realisation, and he tried to struggle out of Katsuki's grip, to see what was happening. What had spooked the blonde so much as to ask for reinforcements? "We have more company. Prepare a back-up team now! And bring a rescue team. Dek... Izuku can't fight, che-"

"NO!" Izuku knows what his lover was trying to do. Protect him. He knew he was beaten. Out of breath. Unable to fight. In immense pain. Katsuki was going to save him and keep the villains distracted so that he wouldn't get hurt. But that doesn't mean Katsuki won't. "Kacchan you can't... I... I WON'T LET YO-" Izuku's voice was cracking, more desperate. They were fighting each other, just like they did before they became a couple. But now, the stakes were much higher. Izuku's cries fell on deaf ears.
