Chapter 13

Roman held my hand as we drove to pick up.

"You okay?" He asked after honking the horn.

"Yeah." I leaned over giving him a kiss.

"As long as we go looking for houses after." I said.

"You got it."

The door behind me opened and Peter got in cause me to go quiet.

"Let's make this quick. It smells like wet dog in here." Roman said.

"I told you, you should've bought an air freshener." I said.

"When were married, we'll have one in every room." I smiled.

"There's actually a 7 bed and 6 bath, house on our way to the Steel Mill, we should check it out."

"All right, give me the address."

I hopped out of the car, and made my way to the gate.

"Isn't it beautiful?" I asked as Roman wrapped an arm around my shoulder.

"You want it?" He asked.

"Yeah, but it's 165k, it's too much." I said.

"Babe, we're Godfrey's, we can afford anything."

I smiled widely.

"Are you serious?!" I gasp.

"Yes." He laughed, a real one as I squealed jumping into his arm.

I hopped out of the car, as Roman came over, grabbing my hand.

"Isn't there somewhere around back we can park this? You know..."

"Nobody gives a shit what happens out here." Roman told him.

"Except us, right?" Roman nodded.

We made our way to the gate as Roman unlocked it.

"Stay close to me." Roman told me as I nodded.

"Cool." Peter commented as we went to the door and Roman unlocked it.
