Okay you got this, what the hell are you freaking out for c'mon this is not the first time. Yeah but it's the first date you moron, and the girl actually agreed to go out with you. Shit I'm gunna flake out

"Cliff, you alright man ? This chick really has you nervous bout this first date thing" hearing James's voice I get interrupted from my rant

"If you seen her you'd be nervous and a shit wreck as I am. You think it's too late to stand her up?"

Getting stopped the door is being knocked on and now I'm shitting myself hoping it's not who I think it is

"Well hello beautiful, you must be here for Cliff. Oh Cliiiifff the lovely lady is here"

Walking down the stairs I see y/n who's engaged in a serious conversation with Lars

"Hey y/n" hearing my voice crack I cough to clear it hoping none of the guys caught on

"Hi, I'm sorry I'm earlier than I told you I'd be just um...couldn't trust traffic so I got a head start"

"No problem, uh these are the guys. You've already met Lars I see, this is James and..." looking from here to the kitchen I don't see Dave anywhere "we have another I don't know where he is might be sleeping or he left"

"Well nice to meet you both, do you mind if I use your bathroom?"

"No go ahead upstairs then make a right"

As she leaves for the bathroom I feel a slap to the back and laughter from the two buffoons

"You are a mess, dude she's hot. You think she puts out on the first date ?" Looking to Lars I give him a nod of disapproval

Before I could answer that I'm hearing fast and heavy footsteps rushing down the stairs. Once that person is in view I see it's y/n who looks nervous

"On second thought we could just go I can hold it til-

"Oh cowgirl where you heading off to, just tryna catch up no need to run" seeing Dave come down following behind with this teasing hysterical look on his face

"Cowgirl ? How do you two know each other ?" I asked seeing y/n look anywhere but me or really us for that matter I feel this is not the good kind of catching up she anticipated

"Dave and I are acquainted with one another yeah you could say" she squeaks out still not looking up

"Acquaintances how exactly ?" James questions on

"You guys remember that night I told you bout ? The rodeo chick, well low and behold" Dave laughs gesturing to y/n

"I think my question has been answered" Lars mumbles to me "Well you kids go ahead and get going with your date, have fun and Cliff behave" he winks at me pushing us out the door

"So...you and Dave-

"It was a mistake on my part, I was high out of my mind on pot and I couldn't control myself. It never happened again and I'd like to keep it that way" she rushes out feeling embarrassed well how would you feel Cliff, your band mate got a taste of your date before you and she's just as freaked out as you are

"Don't be too hard on yourself we all make some stupid decisions in life we're not proud of" bumping her shoulder trying to ease the frustrated features on her face "holy shit is that your car"

Gawking at the dodge la femme across the street

"Persephone, yeah I thought maybe you would wanna drive her. Really I didn't know if you had a car or not so..."
