"Finally I'm freezing, thought this long sleeve would help ease some of it but my legs are still getting the wind. Why the fuck is the AC on in here anyways?"

"Well lets see it gets hot and steamy in the kitchen, it's crowded in here, and I guess keeps us moving faster to serve tables" she explains each reason as I stare deadpanned at her still not seeing the valid reason

"Whatever...see you in 10 minutes" walking into the break room snatching my phone from my purse I sit down opening to find nothing out of the ordinary

"Hey hey hey! So ready to go home, do you think we'll be getting paid today?" watching Octavia come in

"I hope so, need to make my last payment on my car. Did you hear we're suppose to be getting newer shorts?"

"Yes they're gonna be shorter, y'know more revealing on the ass. I already wear thongs don't make it where I might as well not wear underwear to work" she complains putting her legs across my lap

"Disadvantages of working at Hooters" jingling out the words seeing her nod along

"What exactly are the advantages?" she squints to me as I think on it

"I do look good in orange I've come to realize and I'm getting better social skills" finally coming to terms with my newer attitude and style

Thought I would have a lot more adventure in my life at this time around, 23 years old with nothing much going for me. I mean, I want some sort of excitement. Working at Hooters is not as exciting as people think, sure it's fun every now and then but I wanna go places. I need to spice up my life more, maybe Octavia is right need to loosen up a little

Getting into work today for some reason the vibe felt different, I don't know it felt weird. Like a confusing weird, as if something's changing or something big could happen. I felt this the whole way getting here today and at first I thought it was gonna be bad but when I made it here with no crashes, no lateness I knew I was wrong. Putting on my mini fanny for my notepad and pencil I leave the break room seeing Erica motioning for me to come closer
