Author's POV
The next morning
The sun rays entered the room waking the angel up. Taani rubbed her eyes to shoo away the sleepiness and sat on the bed stretching a little. Her head was aching due to the hangover of the previous night. She clutched her temple pressing a little to sooth the pain away.
Looking around she found herself in their room, she did not remember anything of the previous night so she was trying hard to recall what happened and when they returned. Her eyes then went towards her clothes, she was wearing his shirt while her yesterday's dress was lying on the couch.
What the hell happened yesterday night? Did I do something wrong or embarrassing?
She was busy in her thoughts when Rey entered the room after making a phone call and found her sitting on the bed deep in her thoughts.
He smiled and greeted her,
"Good Morning jaan!"
Her head snapped in his direction, she smiled at him awkwardly,
"Good morning!"
He sat beside her and smilingly passed her a glass of lime water for her hangover. She took it still pondering over the happenings of last night, giving up she finally asked him,
"Rey, what happened yesterday? I don't remember anything! Did I do or say something wrong?"
He looked at her with a big smile, pushing her hair strand away from her face he said,
"Nope, you didn't do anything wrong. So stop thining so much....drink and freshen up."
She smiled softly still asking,
"Still, tell me what I did? I didn't embarrass you right?"
He chuckled and sitting closer to her he cupped her cheeks,
"Well no, but you surely made it hard for me yesterday to control myself. Only I know how much I stopped myself from taking you when my gf was seducing me and kissing me."
Her eyes widened and she cursed herself internally and he chuckled at her shyness, she shook her head apologetically,
"I am sorry Rey...I.."
He didn't let her complete shushing her,
"Shhh, stop it jaan. I didn't mind it, in fact I liked it. Only if you weren't drunk, I would have liked it more, then I wouldn't have fought so hard."
He said winking at her making her blush furiously, putting the glass aside she crawled up to him and sat on his lap willingly this time and hugged him,
"Thank you Rey, for taking care of me yesterday."
He frowned at her,
"You don't need to thank me jaan, I would take care of you no matter what. Puri life, har moment or har step mein I would be there with you."
She hugged him again tightly and he squeezed her in his arms making her sigh in peace. She was hugging him whne he caressed her hair and said,
"Jaan, mujhe tumhe kuch bolna tha."
Taani departed from the hug and looked at him nodding,
"Actually mujhe ek kaam aagaya hai, and I have to urgently leave for Lonavla. I would be back by tonight."
