NARRATOR'S P.O.V

"Come on what's taking you so long jaan!!! " The King yelled from the entrance of the room over the edge of impatience and irritation.
"Wait for 5 minutes more.!! " the familiar beautiful voice striked through the room irking the already agitated King to a whole new level. Frowning grimacely he leaned back on the door awaiting the arrival of his beautiful queen who indeed was taking hours to doll up. Waiting was something loathed wholeheartedly by the pride of Jaisalmer, perhaps because being a Royal and that too a Rajput, he wasn't someone who had ever encountered an opportunity to hold on for someone; contrastingly it was him who made the world await his anticipated arrival. Nonetheless after the incoming of his sweet little vixen he had metamorphose into a waiter who sporadically or perhaps everytime had to wait like a waiter for her. And he isn't a huge fanatic of waiting and to his horror with utmost patience which ironically enough for his impatient and short tempered persona, was silently carrying out the process. The miserable and pitiful husband have got no other option after all. But at the end, he isn't much of a complaining or whining mess because from inside this tiny little waiting stuff was pretty sweet for him. After all not every man on this planet has got the opportunity to wait for his wife and with the wife as beautiful as his, it was pretty rare.

Feeble footsteps neared the door of the room and without his further knowledge, the door was softly turned open, revealing his beautiful young wife standing on the door with a 'Pooja Thali' nestling in his little hands. He took a good 2 minutes to get a proper look of her discovering that she was wrapped up in a beautiful silver lehenga with golden fringes and floral embroidery, a blouse hugging her soft breasts and a long dupatta draped over her arm. He didn't failed to notice that she had applied vermilion on her head something which he'd witnessed for the first time after their marriage ofcourse. She was wrapped from her chest to toe except her tummy which was on display and he found himself frowning at it.
"Why're you shouting!!! " she narrowed her lids at him while he stood like a statuette, staring at his precious obsession. His favourite kill time though.
"You look beautiful!!! " he whispered looking into her beautiful eyes which right now held anger and questions in them.
"You didn't answer me!! " she asked glaring daggers at him which ultimately led him to roll his eyes. After all one more attempt to make her fall in love with him failed terribly. Nothing new for him though.
"Who takes 3 hours to get ready.?? " he sighed leaning onto the wooden restriction. She frowned at his ignorance.
"You're not a girl that's why you'll ne'er know why girls need more time to get ready. " she defended herself flicking her hairs thinking he might get the answer which apparently wasn't the case as for years he'd lived his life without any sort of proximity with a woman hence it would be hard for him to understand the everyday activities of the girl which comprised of consuming hours for getting ready.
"But I only take 20 minutes to get ready, why can't you get ready so early!!! " he asked in a manner as if it was the most obvious thing getting a tired look from his wife. She smiled abruptly much to the perplexion of her beastly husband.
"Because maggi and lasagna have obvious differences.!!! " she retort before walking away leaving the half confused man in the corridor. It took seconds for him to realise that his pretty little vixen has oh so ridiculed him comparing him with ramen noodles and herself with lasagna. He frowned upon the brand new realisation hitting him like crazy before rushing forward to catch track with his wife so as not to leave himself behind while she does the rest of the Pooja.

An onyx car halted near the foot of the temple. The King and Queen of Jaisalmer climbed out of the luxurious car with the King aiding his wife to come out by holding out his hand for her. Once out of the car, they both started to advance towards the Temple of Lord Krishna. Nandini bow down her hand in front of the temple while her husband was in his own world. When she found her eyes at him she saw him looking around like an owl.
"Bow down your head!!! " she scolded him breaking his owl scanning session. It was more of a command to him and hence he quickly bow down his head in front of the temple. A smile perched on her lips after she saw him following her orders obediently. After that they both started to climb up the temple stairs stopping on the last step. The temple was right in front of them, huge and beautiful just like every Temple is.
"Might we go in!!! Besides it's so hot in here, please hurry up the pooja so we can return as early as possible!! " he said frowning at the scorching heat of the desert. The temple was in the middle of the sands and therefore it was pretty hot in there, much to the dislike of the King. The queen howbeit was upset with his unnecessary hurries.
"Don't say like that or else God will punish you!!! " she scolded softly while marching forward with him following her like a lost puppy. They both were about to enter the temple when a masculine though honey sweet voice interrupted their entering process.
"Saints are doing a Yajna inside. Sorry but you can't go in now!!! They don't fancy interruptions!!! " a beautiful and ear calming voice came from the far left of them making them turn their heads towards the source of the voice. Their eyes travelled all the way to the left only to come across a beautiful, masculine man sitting on the stone bench on the left. An earthen pot in his hands filled with a thick white substance in all likelihood churned butter. Samrat's brows glued together at this sudden barge while nandini just couldn't take her eyes off from the unknown man.
"Um we've to do pooja inside!!!" she said while walking towards him with her husband gaping at her in shock. With just the look in her eyes he'd became pretty certain that she was indeed interested in him or in less found him attractive, in either case he was bound to be jealous and furious. He walked behind her with an angry expression on his face.
"Saints are inside and I am guarding the temple. " he said with a heart warming smile on his lips. His complexion was dark and he was an epitome of a man's beauty. His eyes were big and filled with kindness and compassion, his nose cylindrical and long, hairs thick and fell loosely on his shoulders and his body can embarrass the most renowned body builders or male models. Besides he was dressed up in a dhoti with his upper body bare displaying his well built body and a flute resting beside him.
"Why are you a security guard!!! " Samrat hissed angrily getting a slap on his shoulder from his wife as a result of his rudeness. The enigmatic man chuckled and the chuckle was the most beautiful thing the couple had come across, even samrat would agree to that.
"It's my duty to guard every man of god!!!" he said, dipping his hand in the pot and scooping out a handful of butter before presenting it to his mouth.
"Ew....you eat butter!!!" samrat grimaced badly looking at his odd eating. The man nodded with no scruple, his smile never wiping from his lips.
"Hm it's my favourite!!! " he said half muffled as an outcome of his mouth filled with butter. Nandini chuckled at his adorableness escalating the jealousy of her husband.
"You are so......." she stopped to chuckle.
"Handsome and adorable!!! I know that!!!!!" he said with a smile looking at her. Samrat had this ardent desire to snap his neck but something in him forbided to do so.
"If you eat this much quantity of butter everyday, than how come you have such a great body!!! I literally have to spend hours in gym giving up on my favourite food to get this body and you......." samrat was cut in.
"It's a secret. Besides in my place everyone has good body!!!! You won't believe my best friend is even more handsome than me!!! " he said with a smile.
"Ok but where do you live!!! " she asked out of grave curiousty. The man laughed for a second before replying.
"I.....I've many homes. Sometimes I sleep here, sometimes somewhere else. This whole world is my home!!! " he chuckled. Samrat rolled his eyes at his stupid made up stories.
"Why don't you tell that you are a gypsy or a nomad perhaps.!! " he frowned at him while the man chuckled. Samrat really was becoming frustrated after seeing his chuckling habits. He practically chuckles for no reason.
"But if they are in, than how'll I do pooja!!! " nandini said sadly looking at her Pooja thali which she decorated with so much love.
"No problem, you saw me!!! Now there's no need to go inside. " he smiled at her perplexing her to the extreme. Samrat rolled his eyes at him. He was a charmer if you believe him.
"Why are you a God!!! " he hissed at him harshly while the other just laughed not growing angry at his rude behaviour which was another thing that perplexed Samrat.
"God resides in everyone, so yeah!!! " he replied making nandini grow more attached to him than already.
"If that was the case than what's the need of Temples or churches!!! And if that's the case than nandini worship me because god lies in me too!!! " he sneered at him making nandini furious at him. She didn't like him taking so rudely with the beautiful and kind man.
"Sam say sorry right now!!! " she scolded him while he clicked his tongue after all he was beyond angry with the handsome male. He shouldn't be so handsome after all.
"No way besides I never wanted to come here!! You forced me to come here!!! " he replied looking away angrily. Nandini parted her lips to rebuke him but the man decided to interrupt first.
"Why not!!!! Are you angry with God!!! " the man asked softly looking at him. Samrat looked at him with his complaining eyes.
"Yes I am!!! Chiefly after my brother died!!! " he whispered the last part but 'By chance ' the man came to hear just like nandini who looked at him perplexed. She didn't know whom he was talking about but she'd seen him sometimes shedding tears at a photoframe. Perhaps talking about that guy in the middle in the picture.
"Has he!!!! " the question was flinged at the King who looked at the interrogator with saucer eyes. Perhaps because those words held so much confidence just like the eyes of the man.
"Death of a person means that he departs from the Earth. Leaving the earth completely...Has he did that!!! Are you sure that he's left the earth!!! " the man asked raising his perfectly trimmed brow. Sweat ran down samrat's face in rivulets at this abrupt question. His eyes spoke something which scared samrat to the core. And it was downright rare for him to grow feared because there aren't many or practically no one who has the capability to scare the grandson of Prithviraj Ahlawat.
"Why do I feel that you are hiding something from the world!!!! You know better what I'm talking about.!! " the enigmatic man said staring into the eyes of the King. Samrat didn't know why but his persistent interrogation was scaring him and he literally doesn't know why he can't ask him to stop already.
"I.....I.....don't know nothing!!! And my....my brother is dead already!!! That's it!!!! " Samrat stated looking away too scared to stare into the eyes of the ever smiling man.
"Than why your eyes defy your words!!! Is there something you are hiding!!! " the man asked with a smile. Samrat looked at him shocked. The man was talking in a manner as if he already knows what he's not told anyone. The secret which was concealed in his heart was known by him and this scared him. Nandini howbeit saw her husband's apprehension and anxiety and decided to jump into the conversation.
"Um please let us go in!!! We've to take the blessings of Lord Krishna!!! " she pleaded softly melting her husband's heart who was all set to bash this man to take her inside after all their is nothing on this earth which his beloved queen can't get. The beautiful man lifted up his flute before replying to the beautiful girl.
"Oh blessings, here you have it!!!! Ayushmati Bhava!!!! And you, Ayushmaan Bhava!!!" the man said grinning perplexing the couple.
"No you are not getting......" nandini faltered.
"I get everything!!! " he said before pressing the flute near his lips and playing the flute so melodiously that it might embarrass some big names in music. The couple were awe struck at this beautiful sight of him playing the flute and the desert birds flitted about him.
"Who are you!!! " an abrupt question came from behind breaking the trance of the couple who looked behind to get a look at the source of the voice. The royal couple found a saint standing in front of them with perplexion oh his face.
"Um we have come to do pooja but the guard stopped us. " samrat said a bit frowning. The saint looked at him as if he'd grown horns.
"Guard, where is he!!! " the saint demanded to know.
"Here he is....." nandini stopped as she looked at her side to find a void space but no man. Samrat too was dumbstruck after not finding the annoying man.
"But he was here!!! " nandini whispered gaping at the empty space and so did samrat.
"Whom are you talking about Shrimaan!!! " the sage asked perplexed while the couple gaped at him dumbfounded.
"A man!!!! Told us he's a guard!!! Don't know how he disappeared so quickly!! " Samrat said agape staring at the saffron dressed sage. The sage listened to him carefully and then smiled abruptly much to their perplexion. He quickly ran inside without saying anything confusing the already confused couple to the core. Seconds later a group of sage came running outside with a huge grin plastered on their faces.
"Are they the one!!! " the oldest sage asked his students. They nodded with a smile while the couple looked at them dumbfounded after not being able to apprehend anything.
"What is happening!!! " Samrat asked nervously looking at the grinning sages.
"My child Lord Krishna gave you blessings!!! You are the lucky couple he blessed!!!! " the oldest sage said.
"What!!! Do you think I am crazy!!! Hey hey wait, I am not buying it!!! " samrat said with no scruple folding his arms.
"I know you won't!!!! But it's not the first time he'd blessed a couple!!! Trust me your match is made in heaven!!!! " the sage said before walking away. Samrat rolled his eyes.
"Whatever!! I am no fool......" he stopped as he looked at his wife to find her gaping at the temple in shock.
"Wait are you buying it!!! " he asked her in shock. She nodded still gaping. He rolled his eyes and parted his lips but than realisation hit him and he remembered the chance encounter with that fellow; his charm, heart warming smile, confident revelations about his brother's uncertain demise, and him being not be able to do anything wrong to him even though he tried!!! It all yelled that he was no other than the Lord Krishna. And he blessed them, meaning their match is indeed made in heaven. With this thought in his mind he abruptly grabbed her waist and pulled her to his chest looking into her confused eyes.
"Now even Lord is with me baby doll!!! How long will you resist me jaan!!!! " he whispered caging her in his strong arms while she looked at him dumbfounded. She didn't knew what to say but one thing was sure that he loved her dearly and that's why even the God has gave a thumbs up to his love. Now she didn't had the idea that for how long she can stay away from him.
