A/N: Sike bitch you really though I was going to give up on this fic, this is my biggest hit yet.

"You know, you were right. August really did sip away like wine," I mutter and let out a sigh appreciating the feeling of Taylor's fingers combing through my hair.

She offers a light chuckle.

"Well, that song was about last year. But yeah, it's crazy how time started to fly once I moved here."

We're lying on my bed, enjoying the morning light from the windows, still too lazy to get up and have breakfast. Something about Saturday mornings always made me feel lazier and comfy, which didn't change with quarantine. I have my head on Taylor's stomach, listening to her breathing while she plays with my hair and I scroll down my Instagram feed.

"I might have to steal your shampoo," Taylor whispers as if confessing a crime and I giggle. "It's absurd how soft and hydrated your hair always looks."

I lift my body, making her hands lose hold of my head and shift slowly to crawl on top of my best friend, who just smiles up at me once I look down to her blue eyes.

"Well, everything in this apartment is available for you to take at any given time."

"Everything?" She raises her eyebrows daringly.

"Anything your pretty eyes land on."

We relish on the tension created for a moment, neither wanting to give up eye contact. It was absolutely thrilling to fully savor the electricity that always came easily when we were together and not worry anymore about crossing any lines.

Finally I had the green light always on to do whatever I wanted with Taylor. Right now, I could simply lean down and take her lips into mine, yet I didn't, not because I wasn't allowed to, but because I just wanted to tease her and know I could do much more than kissing her afterwards.

"You know," Taylor's voice interrupts my train of thoughts, " You should be careful when you say stuff like that, Karlie."

"Yeah?" I hold back a smile when I feel one of her fingers running up my spine. She smirks and settles her hand on my nape.

"If I can take whatever I want," her fingers clench the roots of my hair and I gasp as she pulls me down to whisper in my ear. "You might end up losing your Versace collections."

"You are such a jerk!" I let out a shocked laughter and try to get off of her while she tightens her hold on me.

"No, I was just playing!" Taylor laughs and rolls us over in order to keep me in bed. I could easily overpower her, but I roll my eyes and decide to play along. "I'm kidding, I swear."

"Way to kill the mood."

"I'm sorry," she says in between laughter, offering me a clumsy kiss on my neck. "What do you want for breakfast?"

"Banana pancakes. With oatmeal and cinnamon."

"That was fast," she looks impressed.

"Well, I know what I want," I give her a pointed look.

"Hmm, me too," Taylor leans down to kiss me and I let her deepen it for a moment, enjoying her soft lips encase mine. She sighs before breaking apart and looks down at me with her eyes shimmering. "So, where are the Versace bags."

"Oh my God. GET OFF OF ME!"

I'm just finishing the first pancake and watching the blonde's back as she makes some more on my stove. It has become so natural to see her in cotton shorts and old t-shirts everyday that I'm starting to think how odd it's gonna be when I get to see Superstar Taylor again, in her red carped dresses and interview outfits.
