I make my way to the room before anyone else. The day's events has called for a shower. I make my way to the shower where I spend a good amount of time. I get dressed in my pajamas. By pajamas I mean a big t-shirt I took from my father and basket ball shorts. It's only after seven, but I am ready to go to bed after the day I've had.

When I exit the bathroom, I see them talking lowly. They are all on Jen's bed. I ignore them and make my way to my own bed. I threw my flat ironed hair into a ponytail with the end tucked in.

I put my stuff away. I hear them get quiet, but brush it off. I sit on my bed and pull out my phone to text my father. "Faith, is it?" Jen asks as if she doesn't know.

"Yup." I say. I wish they wouldn't talk to me.

"I didn't know we had mutual friends. You know, Luke." She says.

I don't look up. "We don't. We aren't friends."

"You aren't?" Stacy asks. "So what are you?"

"Nothing at all."

"It didn't seem so." Jen points out. She's getting hostile.

I sigh and turn to look at them so they understand. "I am going to say this one last time. We aren't anything. We aren't even on first name basis."

"I am sorry, but I don't believe that." It's Hallie finally asking questions for herself. "You are on all of their Instagrams. You are even on Luke's snap and the only people he posts are Jammie, Kyle, Alex and Michael. He shared his drink with you and he ran after you. Luke isn't a people person. He doesn't do those things for just anybody."

I shrug. "I can't further assure you that Luke Glendale and I aren't anything. I suggest that you inquire about us from him then. Good night." I just lay down and turn away from them.

"Unbelievable." One of them says and the start to talk lowly again

I fall asleep. I am woken up about three hours later by my phone ringing. I groan and turn to see who it is. It's a FaceTime call from Riley. I let it ring off. Figuring she'll get the message, I roll back over. A minute later, the phone rings again. Realizing she doesn't understand what missing a call means, I answer.

"Hello?" There sleep in my voice.

"Are you sleeping? It now 9." She says. I can hardly hear her, it's noisy in her background. The sound of music.

"What is the importance of this call?"

"You forgot your money in my purse." She says loudly. She seems more peppy than normal.

"That isn't a valid reason to wake me." I groan.

"Come get it now. I almost threw it away when I was cleaning my purse out."

"Riley-"

"Bye." She hangs up.

I want to throw a tiny tantrum, but I refrain from doing so. I get up from my bed. The room is empty. I make sure to brush my teeth because I just woke up. I put on my slippers before leaving the room. I walk to her room. I knock on the door, the sound of music clear as day. She opens.

"Great! You came." She has a red cup in hand. If I know one thing about parties, I know she is drinking. "What are you wearing?"

"Pajamas." I furrow my brows and shake my head. "My money." I hold out my hand.

"W-what's the rush?" She slurs.

"My sleep."

"Nonsense. Come come. We are hanging out in here." She pulls my hand and yanks me into the room.
