Mia walked into work and sighed as she tried to call fletch. He had been off and distant with her and she was worried. She didn't know what was going on with them.

"Mummy, I go to daddy's?" Esmè asked as Mia looked to Esmè and smiled

"I don't know I have to go and speak to him, okay?" Mia asked as Esmè nodded. Esmè walked into pulses with Esmè and smiled "I'll get you a juice baby then I'll take you to crèche" Mia said as Esmè nodded. She looked as Mia sat down as she ordered herself a coffee and Mia juices. She smiled as she saw Serena who walked over to Mia.

Mia smiled as she looked to Esmè. All that she could think about was her and fletch and what was going on with them and how complicated that it was and she knew that if the truth came out, the truth over how they had been sleeping together that it was it all, she knew that Esmè was the also thing that she wanted to mess up.

Mia knew that Esmè was the only thing that they had done together. Mia walked over and sat with Esmè and Serena. Serena looked to Mia and frowned. She could see how off that Mia seemed

"Are you okay?" Serena asked as Mia nodded "I'm just tried, fletch hasn't had her much this week and she's hard work on my own" Mia said

"how about I take her for the night, you look as if you could do with the rest. You don't look the best" Serena said as Mia took a sip of her coffee and rolled her eyes

"thanks for that, can you drop her off. I'm going to be late" Mia asked as Serena smiled "of course" she said as Mia drank her coffee. She walked over to Esmè and kissed her head

"be good"

"yes mummy" Esmè said as Mia walked off. She looked back at Esmè as she walked to the lift and sighed as she waited for it, she frowned as she saw fletch and ange, who looked to be arguing.

Mia Walked into the lift as it seems that they hadn't seen her. She looked to her phone and sighed knowing how awkward that she felt. She didn't know where to look or do, she heard her name being mentioned knowing that she was the one thst they were arguing about.

Mia looked as they walked out of the lift. Mia realised just how she had seemed to come between them and she didn't know how to feel over it

Mia walked into fletch office later that day and smiled as she looked to him "are you okay? I haven't seen you lately" Mia asked as he looked to her and smiled

"I'm sorry, I should of been there for you, my head has been a mess lately" he said as Mia smiled

"I'm not a basket case anymore fletch. I'm doing good but Esmè needs you, she is your daughter too and she misses you" Mia said as fletch smiled as Mia placed a hand on top of hers and smiled

"I know, I'm sorry. I'll go see her in the crèche later" fletch said as Mia smiled "she'd like that, your her dad and she thinks the world of you" Mia said as fletch nodded

"I know, ange and I had a fight I gather that you heard. She thinks that I am spending to much time with you" fletch said as Mia looked to him and rolled her eyes

"you want to end it?" Mia asked as fletch which his head

"no,I really don't" he said as he grabbed her and pulled her close so that she was straddling him. Mia looked to him and smiled as they held a look as she wrapped her arms around his neck and smiled as she leant in and kissed him. Fletch kissed her back and smiled

"What's going on, I know that there is something bothering you" Mia asked as he looked to her and smiled

"I need to tell you something but I don't want you to freak out, I few days ago, I found out that I have cancer" fletch said as Mia looked to him and frowned. She felt her heart break as she thought over what he had been through and alone, Mia placed a hand on his cheek

"it's okay, I'm here and I'm not going anywhere I promise" she said as she leant in and kissed him. He kissed her back and smiled.

But could they get through this and would it bring them closer than ever before?
