[12] Life Changing

Stiles started the car and pulled out of the parking spot. He started driving down the lot when Derek walked directly in front of his car making him slam on the breaks.

"What the hell?" Madison exclaimed as they watched Derek collapse in front the Jeep.

"Are you kidding me this guy is everywhere." Stiles stated glancing at the people behind them who were honking at them too move.

"What the hell?" Scott said from the outside of the window. They got out of the car and went to Derek with Scott. "What are you doing here?"

"I was shot." Derek answer, panting heavily.

"That explains why you look so bad." Madison stated making Derek glare at her.

"Why aren't you healing?" Scott asked.

"I can't. It was, it was a different kind of bullet." Derek said slowly.

"A sliver bullet?" Stiles asked in excitement.

"No you idiot." Derek snapped at Stiles.

"Wait, that's what she meant when she said you had 48 hours." Scott said making other three looked at him confused.

"What? Who said 48 hours?" Derek asked breathing heavily.

"The one who shot you." Scott answered. All the sudden Derek groaned and his eyes flashed blue.

"What are you doing stop that!" Scott panicked. Stiles and Madison glanced at each other nervously.

"That's what I'm trying to tell you. I can't." Derek told him.

"That's convenient." Madison said looking around at the people who were starting to crowd.

"Derek get up." Scott told him. Derek didn't move. "Okay I'm gonna put him in your car."

Scott got Derek up and helped him into the passengers seat. Madison and Stiles watched the crowd to make sure no one came to close.

"I need you to find out what kind of bullet they used." Derek said to Scott.

"How the hell am I supposed to do that?" Scott asked.

"Cause she's an Argent. She's with them." Derek told him. Making Stiles and Madison's eyes widen. Great, another hunter related to Allison.

"Why should I help you?" Scott asked.

"Because you need me." Derek said. Scott glanced at the people around him.

"Fine I'll try." Scott said them looking at Madison and Stiles. They nodded and got into the car.

"Get him out of here." Scott said to Stiles while Madi poked her head from the back seat in between the front seats.

"I hate you for this so much." Stiles said driving away. He drove out of school and down the road while Madi texted Scott.

To Scott: did you find it yet?

From Scott: need more time.

"He needs more time." She told Stiles. He rolled his eyes glancing at Derek, who if was even possible got paler.

"Hey try not to bleed out on my seats, okay?" Stiles said to him. "We're almost there."

"Almost where?" Derek asked.

"Your house." Madison answered confused.

"What? No you can't take me there." Derek told them.

"We can't take you to your own house?" Stiles asked getting annoyed.
