Start from the beginning

The holiday season was always the busiest time of the year for the small coffee shop sitting on the corner of an unknown street just on the outskirts of the bustling city.

From dawn til dusk, people wandered into the toasty café to escape from the bitter weather as their eyes scanned the new list of holiday themed drinks plastered across the wall behind the counter, flavors ranging from peppermint to ginger and everything in between.

It was quite a homey feel, and was definitely their best time for business as November to February was when they gained their most profit with the festive decorations scattered around the place and scents of cinnamon and cranberry flooding the atmosphere around them.

And although it could get quite hectic and nerve-wracking at times with the pressure of dealing with a few cranky and impatient customers, the four boys loved it more than anything since it was a chance to spread merriment into others' holiday seasons.

So plastering on their biggest and friendliest smiles, every worker greeted each customer with the upmost respect and brightest energy they could muster up, immediately radiating their joy onto other's who were simply just buying a drink.

But that's the joy of Christmas time, or if you don't celebrate Christmas then the winter season in general.

Everyone's best attitude comes out at that time, their excitement building up to opening and exchanging gifts on Christmas Day, to going sledding and having your snow boots being filled with snow clumps as you slid down a ski hill.

From every sip of hot chocolate topped with a mountain of marshmallows, to every bite of homemade cookies, it's like your sprits are automatically raised even from something simple as a candy or sweet.

And even if Yoongi wasn't able to attend their dance performance, much to everyone's disappointment since they felt terrible that he wasn't able to go, he'd still have several opportunities to hang out with Hoseok and the others.

Like right now, as he, Hoseok, and Dawon were all sitting at the Jung's kitchen table and taking sips of hot chocolate as a Christmas movie played in the background, although none of them really paid any attention to it.

A casual conversation was carried between all three of them, with Dawon internally smirking at the way both Hoseok and Yoongi's eyes twinkled with the upmost delight when facing each other, the biggest grins planted across their faces or sneakily hidden behind their mugs filled with that delicious chocolatey drink.

Nor did she miss the way a faint rosy tint dusted their cheeks ever so slightly, or how their big brown eyes were filled with something much deeper than a simple liking towards each other.

But she kept quiet to herself, letting the two talk naturally to one another and letting the conversation unravel into a variety of topics as their voices traveled across the house flowing with such an enthusiastic tone that brought joy to one another's ears just by hearing it.

And Dawon couldn't help but feel happy for them, that her brother finally escaped from the hands of Lee Chul and into the protective hold of Min Yoongi, who in her opinion, was a much better match for him.

But that was simply her own judgment, though she could clearly see how entranced the two were by each other, a glow so strong radiating off their chest that it was almost visible to the naked eye, with their souls connected to one another in every way possible not missing how they illuminated the entire room around them just with their signature smiles caused by the other sitting across from them.

Though, the sweet moment was somewhat ruined when the two juniors brought up those Disney conspiracy theories that drove her nuts.

That's when Dawon dipped.
