"Hey guys," Trent smiled at Tammy, Ben, Demarai and Joe as he walked into the games room of St George's Park for the England Under 21 international break, his first England Under 21 call up

"Hey mate, you alright?" Ben said to the scouser

"Yeah, you?"

"Happy to be back," Ben answered "Are you nervous?"

"Kind of," Trent shrugged "I just don't know everyone yet,"

"Well then," Joe said and gestured to the room "That's Tom, he's a mid, there's Fikayo, he's a defender and there's Lewis he's also a mid,"

"This is so weird," Trent said "I hate being new,"

"You'll get used to it," Demarai chuckled and looked over Trent's shoulder "Oh Trent by the way this is Ella," Trent turned around and his eyes landed on the brunette walking into the room

"Oh," Ella stopped when she saw Trent "You,"

Ella Beckham was perhaps Trent Alexander-Arnold's biggest rival. The pair had grown up playing against each other and had hated each other since day one, but two years ago was the last time they saw each other.

Ella had begun playing for the England Under 21s at the mere age of 16 and hadn't seen Trent since, but now that Trent was making his debut for the team, it had been inevitable of course that he would run into her

"Still playing in that shit blue shirt?" He crossed his arms

Unlike her father and everyone's expectations Ella hadn't ended up playing for Manchester United, she had started playing for Chelsea since she was 6 and she had loved every moment of it

"Better than that ugly red shirt. Tell me are all the players in your team sore losers or are you just special?" She glared at him and he scoffed

"You two know each other?" Demarai asked, trying to diffuse the tension

"Sadly," Ella snarked "I beat him every time Chelsea played them and he's always been such a sore loser,"

"Yeah this was back when Chelsea had some talent," Trent jeered back

"Everyone!" Much to the relief of their teammates Aidy called the room to his attention "In 10 minutes I want you all on the pitch in training gear with your boots that you will need to collect, it is a little cold so dress warmly," They nodded and everyone went to quickly change and put on their boots

Trent walked onto the pitch and spotted Ella chatting to Tammy as they passed a football lazily, he scoffed at the Chelsea players and went to find Joe

"Today I want you all to learn to play as a whole team, we have some new players with us and the only way we're going to win is by playing together," Aidy said "So I'm pairing everyone to pair with someone who does not play for the same club or who they are not already best friends with. So I want Trent and Ella..."

Ella rolled her eyes and shot Trent a glare, he smirked back to annoy her and she headed over to him. The drills were mainly quick passes and short sprints, and Ella could sense Trent's nervousness playing in the under 21s and took advantage of it

"Nervous?" Ella said cockily and he scoffed "You know, I can't believe you even made it here to be real."

"I can't believe Chelsea took you in their first team." He snapped

"Believe it before I score against you reds in November," she smirked "Besides at least I managed to get to the under 21s before I was 18. I got this far when I was 16."
