Trent woke up feeling like a brick had hit him over the head, he had instantly regretted that celebration and Ella nor any of her friends were answering him so he knew this wouldn't be something easy to fix

Over in London Ella was trying to push it all to the back of her head because Chelsea had another match in two days and she had already let her feelings affect one game, she would not do it again

But before she could get to training she had media duties with Frank

So the two of them headed to the press conference room and took their seats behind the table, letting the questions start rolling in

They started like normal 'How are you feeling after the loss?' 'What are you expecting from this next game?' 'Any fitness updates?' Until the questions suddenly got personal

"Ella," One of the reporters said and she knew what the question would be about by the tone in his voice. Frank apparently also knew and sent her an encouraging smile "I'm sure you would have seen Trent's celebration yesterday in his game against Leicester, what did you think of it?"

Ella had already planned her answer to the question "I think Mbappé's one of the best players in the world and Trent is not, they aren't on the same level,"

"Are you guys still together?"

"I also think I play football and do these interviews to talk about that, not my relationship," she spoke. Frank stifled a laugh which made her chuckle quietly and she leaned back in her seat in satisfaction

The video of her replies went viral within hours and Trent watched it on repeat with a heavy heart, knowing how pissed she really was at him

And even though his phone calls consistently rang Ella's phone, the Chelsea player ignored them all and put her mind into her game against Arsenal and that game alone

2 days later the Chelsea player bus pulled up outside the Emirates stadium and Ella had never felt so confident going into a game, for some reason Trent's actions had made her even more determined to win today

But Frank had decided not to put Ella in the starting 11 after everything that happened because even though she was confident he had to make sure her head was in the right place before she played again

Ella could definitely understand where he was coming from but watching the first 45 minutes from the bench was agonising

Especially when Aubameyang scored to put the reds 1-0 up and the scoreline remained that way to half time. As Frank spoke to his team in the dressing room he could see the bouncing of Ella's foot and he knew she was desperate to get on the pitch

So when the clock hit 60 minutes he pulled her from the bench and told her to get into her kit

"This is when I really need you, Ella," Frank said "I need you to turn this scoreline around. Can you do that?"

"Yeah," Ella grinned and she was filled with excitement when the substitution board was held up, saying she would be going on for Willian

Ella high fived the Brazilian and ran onto the pitch, adrenaline pumping through her veins

Frank could see the creativity and skill Ella brought to the team instantly, and she brought an extra spark that no one else on the team had

But as the final 10 minutes arrived the score was still 1-0 to Arsenal and Ella knew she had to pull the game together now. And the amazing thing about this Chelsea team was playing with her oldest friends from the academy who knew exactly how she played

Mason had the ball at his feet and was passing it between himself and Beth in the midfield as they tried to find a moment to break through the surrounding players in red

The moment arrived when Tammy showed up into a space and Mason sent it up to him, running in front of his defender into the final third

Tammy passed it back to Mason who had found his way up the left wing, sending a beautiful cross into the box where Ella simply tapped the ball in past Leno.

"Ella Beckham with the equaliser! Another goal to add her tally!"

Within the next 3 minutes Chelsea had turned the game around as Ella provided an assist for Tammy who put the blues 2-1 up and the game ended that way

Ella wanted to cheer and celebrate but she was doing the sky sports post-match interview today with her godfather

"Well Ella," Gary grinned "I know it's been a hard couple of days with what that Liverpool player did and the loss, so it's got to feel great to come back like this,"

"Yeah," Ella laughed "I mean it just goes to show that I'm not someone to mess with and I won't let it get to me,"

"It was incredible to see how much of an impact you had on the game with everything that's gone on lately,"

"Well I owe that down to Frank," Ella said "He's really helped me and you know I've always had a problem with putting too much pressure or blame on myself, so he's been really helping me remember that I'm not invincible and that's okay,"

"If uh, if Trent was watching what would you say to him?"

"A lot of things," Ella laughed "I don't know, just that if he wants to compare himself to Mbappé then he can go ahead and do that but I'm the one with more goals than either of them this season,"

"It's scary how similar you are to your dad," Gary chuckled "But well done today, kid,"

"Thanks," Ella smiled and headed to her team where she was promptly given the POTM award

Then the celebrations continued on the bus back to Stamford Bridge and Ella was still smiling as she and Tammy walked into their apartment and she added the award to her shelf
