[6] Life Changing

"What was that noise?" Scott asked before his eyes settled on Stiles. Stiles just smiled, standing awkwardly in the middle of Madison's room. "Stiles what are you doing here?"

"I just wanting to make sure you guys weren't dead." Stiles replied. "I think I'm gonna go now that I know you two are alive."

Scott nodded still sort of confused. Stiles started to walk out of the room before Madison stopped him.

"Stiles!" She called out making his head pop back into her room. "What were you going to ask me?"

"Uh," Stiles said glancing at Scott. "It's nothing I'll ask you some other time." He said before leaving.

After Scott checked her window was locked one more time he left her room while Madison thought about what Stiles was gonna ask her.

Madison was sitting at her desk the next day in school while her brother and Lydia did math problems on the board.

She glanced up after finish a math problem the teacher gave the class. She looked at the her best friend and her brother and she could see the tension. Scott looked very worried, while Lydia looked very confident.... and bitchy.

She watched as lydia put the chalk down and walked back to her seat with confidence. Lydia and her made eye contact and Madison gave her a look.

"What? I was just having a nice talk with your brother." Lydia said sitting down next the brunette.

"Lydia I know that face. It's you bitch face, what did you say?" Madison asked as the teacher started talking to Scott.

"I just said to not injure Jackson again, we need him if Scott isn't gonna play." Lydia said before going back to her work.

Madison sighed knowing that Lydia said something else to make Scott uneasy. When the bell rang she went to her locker, reminding her to go to Scott and ask about what happened after.

She opened her locker taking out books for her next class and put the others in her locker. The minute she closed her locker Stiles grabbed her by the arm and started dragging her along to Scott's locker.

"Come here." Stiles said grabbing Scott as well, dragging the twins to the corner of a hallway. "Tell me what they're saying." Stiles said to Scott.

The twins looked in confusion to see Sheriff Stillinski and another deputy talking to a teacher. Madison looked at her brother who was trying to listen.

"Can you hear them?" Stiles asked urgently.

"Shut up he's focusing." Madi said to stiles while Scott shushed him.

"Curfew because of the body." Scott told them.

"Unbelievable, my dads out looking for a rabid animal, while the jerk off who actually killed the girl is just hangin' our doing whatever he wants." Stiles stated clearly frustrated.

"Well you can't exactly tell your dad the truth about Derek." Scott stated.

"We can do something." Madison said an idea popping into her head.
