Chapter 52: [Strength Of Manifestation]

Continuously dodging the attacks of Greg by making a beeline towards him, Ryuuji soon got inside his inner circle range that will be much more dangerous than being farther from him

Immediately he bolted forward and jumped ahead to dodge a low attack coming from Greg, but just as he did this Greg however arch up a smile on his face as he exclaimed

"Sorry kid... . . Your moves... . . Are just too predictable"

With some swift hand movements Greg in turn manipulated the strings that was spread out far and wide on their location to contract together in the middle created Ng something a string cage to lock Ryuuji

With a click of his tongue Ryuuji immediately spins the moment he touched the ground and comjured flames on his sword Ifrit creating something like fire Arc

Unfortunately that kind of attempt wasn't enough as the strings In turn absorbs his own fire on converge on the middle

Left with no choice Ryuuji struck the ground so hard that it causes the earth below him to crack up as the temperature rises by the second

"Eruption!!!"

Consequently as he did that a.huge burst of flame ascended on his location and stretches out towards the sky, one could see such a thing and describe it a flame pillar that erupted

This was a good countermeasure in case the caster was desperate and surrounded with no choice left, by doing this one can not only defend themselves but also cause harm to its surroundings of it wanted

For some reason due to the problem of being attack in all sides, Ryuuji somehow comes up with this kind of mechanism that could defend him from all spots and leaving no blindspots for the enemy to attack,  making it more like a perfect counter

Nevertheless such ability has it flaws, for one you can easily destroy such ability by overpowering such ability through enhancement and Pierce through his defences, the other one is by destroying the balance of its platform disrupting the flow of mana that is conjuring it

With a whistle Greg however was amazed by the size of such ability and it's overwhelming temperature

"That's some ability you got... . . But even though you did that, it doesn't change the fact that I'm still experience than your are" stated Greg as sweat trickled down his face

With a slam unto the ground, Greg inserted most of Mana to conjure strings underneath Ryuuji and controlled them to spring up to destroy them

As if it is his extended hands, strings suddenly rose up around the parameter of the pillar of flame and immediately spins to contract the string all together into one entity

Followed that Greg however was also a flame user enveloped his strings with flames to counter Ryuuji's flames like the notion "fight fire with fire"

As it contracted as if squeezing the pillar of flames, the person himself failed to notice something's wrong from it's surroundings as a silhouette drops down from the sky and slashed down towards him with all his might and couple with the Earth's gravitational pull  making use of the law of inertia from it's momentum and movements

Unexpectedly when the former saw a slight shadow from the ground, he immediately knew that he was done in

In return he quickly cuts his stream of Mana and gathered everything on one spot enveloping himself like a protective armor and faced the strike above head on

Upon collision a huge impact suddenly reverbrated throughout the vicinity that it actually destroyed the surrounding terrain, but the person who's attacking wasn't satisfied yet as he pushed down further and shouted activating his chaos eyes at the same time

"Explode!!!"

With that command the ground beneath them exploded instantly as if responding to that certain command, bringing everything from trees and dust to rocks and plates rise up towards the heavens leaving a huge cracked crater on the ground

However with a that said Greg was still standing strong as it actually defended against that attack, what's more surprising was that his arms however seemed to be tightly enveloped with strings that created a perfect armor defences for him

"Im... . . Impossible!!!" Exclaimed Ryuuji

"Impossible?... . . Kid! In a fight between two adversaries, anything is possible... . . Meaning it's also possible that even though you had more destructive force than me, I can easily defeat you" replied Greg

At that mention Greg arched up his left hand and gathered flame on his fist as he punched Ryuuji's sides causing the latter to arch I'm pain from the impact causing him to be blown away and crash against the ground and debris

"Ah! Gah!" Reacted Ryuuji as he struggled from the pain

But nonetheless he still stood up as he supported himself with his sword and glared at the person who strikes him and made him howl.in pain with just one clean hit

Holding unto his sides he soon stanced himself as he drew Mana and gather it unto his sword enveloping it with his flames

At this move the other person immediately praised him

"That's it! Never falter, nice decision... . . Most people always falter when they saw someone that is stronger than them approaching them... . . in turn when they decided to flee, not only will they make a mistake but also leave them open wide for the enemy to strike them with a fatal blow" he praised him

"You totally made the right choice, a true strong person decides to apply for this kind of occupation knowing it's danger of being killed... . . Even thought fear of death is natural for a person, one should still account this when they decide to join the frontlines"

"The moment they decided to join this organization, they should in turn already must know such risk and be prepared for any possible endings of such confrontation, no one should make light of this occupation"

"By joining you would in turn must know that anytime, anywhere that you could die... . . Any person who shows their backs on the enemy are cowards and not real warrior's... . . In this organization cowards has no place in it, only people who are resolute could enjoy the merits of being in the frontlines"

"Why do you think users are always in the frontlines rather than the military soldiers inspite of them being a former civilians?"

At this question even Ryuuji himself was speechless as he continued to listen

"That's because those civilians suffered and lost something from the Chaos Beings that in turn fueled their hatred and desire to avenge their fallen relatives... . . Revenge is bad? You shouldn't fight with a desire of revenge for this will cloud your judgement?, Such ideology are bullshits... . . that may have work in the past but this is a new era where the rule is kill or be killed"

After expressing his thoughts for a while, he in turn adruptly stopped on his tracks and called out towards Ryuuji to Mike the latter to focus on him

"Over the years I have learned to fight in various ways in various environment, now I'll show you a speck of a level higher than simply relying on your chaos eyes"

At that he manipulated his strings to hover in front of him and used his chaos eyes to tune them ablaze and for some reason talking towards the his weapon with a language foreign to the current times

Soon a phantom of a small round spherical shaped creature projected in front of Greg and floated beside him

"This is the manifestation of my weapon... . . If your weapon has Ifrit would embedded into it then mine is a simple fire sprite... . . now I'll show you the strength when a person manage to tap into the soul of the weapon causing manifestation... . . Are you ready?"

At this question Ryuuji instantly nodded in unison and witnessed something incredible that it even took his breath away the moment Greg did a soul manifestation
