Chapter 149: [Operation Spearhead XI (Amursk II)]

At this very moment while Commanding Officer Zhang together with Richard and Yuti were currently out on the fields to investigate any faint traces of clue regarding the terrorist group, both Kanzaki and Farid on the other hand were in the market place of the town, buying some necessities they needed for the mission 

After replenishing their stocks regarding the food supply of the group, they then headed towards the women's department  of the market as they plan to buy women's necessities in place of Yuti. However during the process of buying a woman's product as a guy isn't that easy at all.

In fact it is kind of embarrassing, after all both of them are guys. Having a guy checking out a girls product in the women's department section, would naturally lead to gossip and intimidating stares from the women who are working within it. Such stares are literally pressuring to a guy.

If both of them were given a chance to be asked of a question on what kind of pressure was the most pressuring of all, both of them would naturally answer 'the stares of women'. After all no matter what they do inside a women's department, they somehow felt being judged by those pressuring stares.

"Do we... Do we need to buy a napkin for Yuti?" asks Farid as he compares a two different napkin for girls, while women from the store are eyeing him

"How would i know? Do we really have to?" asks Kanzaki as he felt stares heading his way

"Don't girls have like a period or something?" asks Farid while keeping an eye at the other women in the store

"Period? you mean menstrual period? I don't know... heck we don't even know when is her period?" answered Kanzaki as he carefully selected his words regarding an issue of women

"Anyway, lets just buy this just in case... I really don't want to stay in this place any longer" said Farid as he grew wearily

"Looks like we have the same thought" added Kanzaki as he felt pressured

"In that moment a Russian sales lady came near them as she spoke a fluent English towards them while advertising the stores product.

"Good day sir! I believe your in quite a pickle on what to choose for a certain woman in your group right?" asks the sales lady

"What the?!?! How did y-" reacted Kanzaki as he was surprised to see the sales lady correctly depict their situation

However before he could completely asked the question completely, the sales lady actually cuts him off and proceeded on her advertisement

"No matter! since I'm here today, you wont have to worry anymore dear customers"

"Did she just cuts me off?" asks Kanzaki in surprise

"She just did" clarified by Farid

"First of all, we have what one may like to say a cosmetics for the women... like VinLift Hydrophilic Cleansing Oil product made by mi&ko company" advertised by the sales lady

"A what?" asks Farid

"Can  you repeat the company's name? i think i didn't hear it clearly" asks Kanzaki

In that moment both Farid and Kanzaki were flabbergasted by the sales lady audacity to ignore their remark. In actual fact they clearly didn't understand one bit of what the lady said for the past few seconds.

"Well... that's clearly  tempting, unfortunately i think we don't need such product on a mission" said Kanzaki

"Yes! i agree, plus i feel like a cosmetic or whatever would just get on our way of overcoming the operation" added by Farid

Upon hearing that, the sales lady frowned for a bit, before she suddenly raises her voice as she debated the usefulness of cosmetics.

"I think your underestimating the capabilities of cosmetics, especially its importance to women"

"Huh? I think your misunderstanding something here" reract6ed by Farid, clearly afraid by the sales lady burning gaze

"Don't underestimate the importance of cosmetics to women sir! Cosmetics can help to improve our mood, enhance our appearance and boost our self-esteem. They can also help to exhibit personal style and, as such, are an important means of social expression... Its not just some weird unstrustable speculation, it is a fact!" said by the sales lady

"Uh what? Um lady..." reacted by Kanzaki

"Shush!!! I don't care what reasons you have sir! I'm stating the importance of cosmetics sir! Skin condition can be improved by application of preventative and treatment cosmetics. This includes moisturization, tone, wrinkle and blemish reduction associated with skin ageing, Symptoms of acne can be reduced, Antiperspirants and Deodorants are effective in reducing perspiration and body odors, Skin Fragrance can be used to elicit strong positive emotion.... Cosmetics impart benefits to an individual. Apart from the more often cited physiological benefits there are very real psychological and social benefits to be gained from the use of cosmetics. It is these benefits that ensure cosmetic products are, and will remain, an integral part of life" said by the sales lady

In that moment both Kanzaki and Farid were caught unto the momentum of the saleslady, to the point that they were mentally exhausted. In order for her to stop debating or what not regarding women's need and before the talk could lead to the fights of women alongside feminisms, they then had no choice but to forcefully shut her up by buying the product itself.

In the end both of them were sales talked by the sales lady.

When  the time came when they rendezvous with the other members of the group, they naturally reported about the fact that they got caught into this sales strategy and had no choice but to give in.

Also when they gave the product to Yuti, the person herself then replied

"I really appreciate your guys concern but, what will i do with these?"

Upon hearing her answer, both Kanzaki and Farid couldn't help but cry at their helplessness. In that moment they both vowed never to engage a women's department without a girl with them. If they ever wanted to go against a woman, then only a woman herself can counter another woman.

And that's how Kanzaki firmed his mind to let Alice and Isabelle to handle this kind of stuff in the future.
