chapter 61: i wanna say to you

"What?" Yoongi frowned. "How am I a tough nut to crack? I don't even know what you're trying to say-"

"Never mind-" Jennie sighed as she intentionally splashed some soapy water in Yoongi's direction. "Oops, sorry."

"What was that for?"

"Nothing-" Jennie said childishly as she splashed more soapy water at him, clearly purposefully. "Oops, my bad again."

"I saw that!" Yoongi looked down at his soaked t-shirt. "Why are you doing this? Stop it-"

"Oops-" Jennie splashed water at him once more, showing her clear displeasure. "It's an accident, calm down."

Yoongi stared at Jennie in disbelief, before he carefully reached into the soapy water and splashed some her way as well.

"Ya!"

"Oops, sorry-" Yoongi grinned, clearly imitating Jennie. "It's an accident."

"Min Yoongi!" Jennie grabbed the soapy sponge and flung it at Yoongi, letting out a small snigger as it hit Yoongi right in the stomach. "Oops, my bad."

Yoongi looked up at Jennie, his expression ominous and his attire almost half wet at this point.

"I said sorry! Don't glare at me like that-"

Yoongi slowly reached down for the sponge, dunked it into the soapy water once more and held it up above his head threateningly. Letting out a fearful yet giggly squeal, Jennie threw down her gloves and made a quick one towards the door.

"Jieun-ssi... she's in deep trouble."

"You think so?"

"Yeah."

"I thought I was wrong, but if you think so too-" Chungha pursed her lips and nodded slowly. "I think we really have an issue here."

"We need to get her out of his house ASAP-" Hoseok said sternly. "She may deny her feelings for him all she wants, but I can see it from the way she speaks - it's way too late."

"Is there really a point getting her out though?" Chungha frowned as she poked at her cup. "It seems like she has already formed such a strong bond with him that at this point, either of them are going to get hurt."

"You're right-" Hoseok sighed. "If she leaves, she'll get hurt. If she doesn't leave and he finds out about her identity, he'll get hurt. But there's a difference in magnitude, you see - it's still better to get her out of there before their bond deepens. Right now, at least only Jieun-ssi has feelings for him. If we let them continue this way, JK-ssi might fall for her too. By then, things are gonna get disastrous."

Chungha bit her lower lip nervously. "How are you so sure that he has not already fallen for her?"

Hoseok turned and glanced at Chungha briefly, before getting to his feet abruptly. "I guess... we can only hope. I'll be mostly outside the office, handling my case, for the next couple of days so you persuade her to leave, alright?"

"Why me?" Chungha frowned as she got to her feet as well. "I'm busy as well. Why not you tell her?"

"You should tell her, because you were in charge of her throughout the bet, so you know more about her progress-" Hoseok argued. "Besides, you're a woman too so you can kinda understand her feelings better. You convince her."
