"Kitten?" a voice says behind me softly. I look out over the clear blue ocean, watching the gently waves wash up against the jetty.

"I don't know who he is anymore Chase," I say quietly, sighing. I could feel Chase come to stand beside me. "He's so busy now. He's always yelling at me for something I didn't do or an accident," I continue. Chase stays quiet, letting me voice my thoughts. "He couldn't even say a compliment to my face this morning.." I trail off. "Do I even mean anything to him?" I ask the waves quietly. My vision starts to go blurry as tears slowly trickle down my cheeks, Chase puts his arms around me tightly. I bury my head into his shoulder and neck, crying softly.

"Oh baby, I'm sure that you mean the world to him, and Becky, your mum too. Maybe he's just a little stressed lately, maybe something's happened at work or..."

"That letter!" I shout loudly causing Chase to jump away from me. "Ops sorry that was a little loud," I admit smiling.

"You don't say," Chase says laughing, I grin, I wipe away my tears as I talk.

"Ever since he got that letter a few days ago, he's been more.. grumpy," I say remembering how he wouldn't let me see the letter even though it had been addressed to me. "And it was addressed to me," I also say, thinking.

"A letter?" questions Chase frowning slightly. I nod my head, it has been in an old envelope. That's when an idea starts forming in my head and I grin. "Why are you grinning Aurora?" Chase asks, watching me slightly worried.

"How do you like sneaking style?" I ask him as I grab my bag off the timber floorboard.

"Uh it's fun I guess. Why?" he asks me running as I walk away from the handrail.

"We're going on a mission!" I state grinning.

"Wait. A mission?" yells Chase as he runs to keeps up with me.

"Yep, a mission to find this letter of mine," I explain as we make it back to the path and road.

"What's happened to my innocent kitty?" Chase asks me as we wait for a taxi. I smile as I look up at him.

"I was never innocent, just sneaky," I say as we climb into the cab.

"So what exactly is the plan?" asks Chase as soon as we get out of the cab.

"Simple," I tell him turning around to face him as I list them off my fingers. "One, we get inside. Two, we see if Dave's home. Three, we look around everywhere for this letter. Four, if Dave is here. Don't. Get. Caught. Five, we get out," I tell him. Chase gulps quietly, nodding his head.

"Sure sounds simple enough kitten," he mumbles as he glances up at the mansion.

"I know right," I tell him laughing as we make our way to the door. "Dave's not home," I mumble as I use the spare key to get in.

"How do you know?" whispers Chase looking around as we go in. I laugh as I watch him sneak around, looking around walls, and staying quiet.

"His car wasn't in the driveway," I tell him laughing. Chase straightens up and glares at me.

"I knew that," he mumbles scratching the back of his neck.

"Sure you did," I tell him as I glance around the hall. "We should start searching," I suggest. "If I was a letter, where would I be?" I mumble to myself.

"A study, important room, bedroom," a voice pipes up behind me making he jump.

"Stop fricken scaring me Chase," I yell at but I was laughing too.
