Chapter 4: Kanna get's Schooled

~A few days later~

Drake's POV

I looked over at at Kanna leaning against the balcony and saw her watching school kids walking by the apartment.

Drake: Kanna's been watching those kids a lot lately, you think she want's to go to school.

Tohru: Who Kanna? Yes I would assume so, it's only natural after all eventually every dragon wrestles with the idea like death. Oh youth.

Drake: I think you didn't understand what I meant, what are you talking about?

Tohru: The journey to eliminate humanity.

Drake: No dammit! I meant she might be wanting to go to school.

Tohru: Oh right, I totally knew that.

Drake: -_- No you didn't.

Tohru: Whatever, anyways where's Lucoa?

Drake: She's out looking for job, I asked her if I could tag along but she said she wanted to do it on her own. Are you fine with her living here?

Tohru: Not at all, she's a good friend of mine.

Drake: That's good.....okay then.

Drake gets up from his chair and walks over to Kanna.

Drake: Hey Kanna?

Kanna: Hmm?

Drake waved his hand for her to come to him.

Kanna: Hey Drake, did you need something?

Drake: I was wondering.... do you wanna go to school?

Kanna: Yes please!

Drake: Okay then...I'll sign you up to one.

~Later that day~

Drake went to the school and to meet the principal to apply Kanna there.

Scathach: It's good to see you again Drake, what can I do for you?

Drake: I would like yo apply my daughter Kanna to your school, please.

Kanna looked at him in disbelief.

Kanna: 'He thinks of me as his daughter?'

Scathach: Since when did you start having kids?

Drake started patting Kanna's head making her feel comfortable

Drake: I recently adopted her, now she's my own pride and joy.
