My heart was racing-
Clarissa was gone.
All I did was turn around for ten seconds and then she was gone.
"DAMNIT!"
I muttered a string of curse words to myself.
I had her!
We were well on our way.
But then she just HAD to let the little girl tag along, and that's all it took.
I lost it.
I had been hovering over the city streets searching for Clarissa for hours.
Roxy had gotten impatient, so I sent her to a rooftop.
