Let me perish,
Set me free.
Just do it, now,
Let me be.
Take my soul
And watch it burn,
I'm no longer whole,
That I've learned.
Pause my life
And stab my chest
Or an arrow from
Your bird's nest.
Send your monsters
Straight from hell
Hounds, demons,
I wish them well.
I'm a target,
Set your aim.
I'm no longer playing
Life's twisted game.
Kick the bucket,
Stop my breath.
But never fear,
I welcome death.
A thunderbolt
Set for my heart
As I pray that
It hits its mark.
Fry me up
Like a chicken strip.
Free me, coward,
From life's cruel grip.
Take the shackles
That keep me down,
Let me get
Up off this ground.
Unleash me from
This earthly pain.
My mortal prison,
Naught to gain.
I ask once more,
I beg you, please.
Let me perish,
Set me free.
