Red can be for anger
Red can be for love
red could be for all the people
That off a cliff you want to shove
Red can be vibrant
Or a whisper of a hue
Red can be whatever it wants-
Red could be for you.
Red could be blood
Or red could be a rose
A declaration of your love
Or a warning for your foes
Red can be for fortune
Red can be for fame
Red can be for all the people
That do not have a name
Red can be many things
Whatever be its fate
Red is quite courageous
I don't think I can relate.

Red is for a Gryffindor,
The strong, the brave, the bold.
It's for those who stand up tall
And wear the red with gold.
The chivalry, the companionship,
The stubborn, foolhardy pride
Above all else, red is for those
Who will not cower, who will not hide.
Red is for the Lions,
Who protect those that are their own,
Red is for those in history,
Brave names always known.
Red is for those which value
All that is above.
And tell me what is fiercer than
That Gryffindor love?
