So this is actually going online! Yas! I doubt anyone is going to like this or even read this, but who cares, right? Sorry, enough self-loathing...

Kousei Arima ended up winning the Eastern Japan Piano Competition with Ballade No. 1 in G Minor Op. 33 by Chopin. With that first place prize, he was able to attend the music school he wanted to go to, called Kasukabe High. His dad was able to get home from work to get ready for the move over the summer.

Tsubaki decided she had to move as well. With her grades, she got into an amateur high school in the same district as Kousei. They wouldn't be next door neighbors, but they would be across the park from each other. Just five minutes of walking.

It turns out Watari's soccer scholarship brought him to move to the same school district as everyone else. While it may be a surprise to Kousei and Tsubaki, Watari was offered several scholarships to different high schools; he just only accepted the one closest to everyone and said that was the one school that offered.

Takashi and Emi did not move anywhere, but they would still see Kousei at several competitions, new ones at that now that they were all high schoolers. Kousei was able to exchange phone numbers with the two now that they became good friends.

Hiroko still keeps in touch, a little more often than she should. Being miles and miles away doesn't keep Kousei safe from her constant aid. And Nagi didn't move either because of Takashi, but she is taking lessons with Hiroko, just waiting for when she would get to Kousei's level of playing.

Even though things are different, there seems to be no foreseeable conflict. Maybe because there isn't another person coming along. But what happens if someone else comes into the picture?
