Dining area will be open for lunch at 11:30 in the afternoon. We have 20 minutes left to set-up the table and we are good to go.

Breakfast at lunch hindi masyadong busy katulad sa dinner. But still sometimes we're running like a chicken lalo na pag maraming walk-in.

I grab the stainless pitcher para mag refill nang tubig sa goblet nang mga customer na kumain. I saw a table with couples which is wala nang laman yung baso nila. I went there and refilling their goblet at the same time asking how are their foods going. So far, wala naman silang reklamo sa pagkain. Mostly yung reklamo lang ay delay yung pagkain.

Yun nga, delay ang pagkain dahil kulang kami sa man power inside the kitchen. Sana, madagdagan na yung cook sa breakfast. Kung puwede lang sana mag volunteer na maging cook, willing din naman ako. Nakaka-awa din ang mga chef . Kung puwede lang maka tulong, why not. Problema lang, bawal naman kami sa kitchen under our contract.

But, Kung wala lang si manager, supervisor at executive chef I am willing to jump thru their station and help them to cook. I know how to cook naman, and flipping the skillet even thought I am not an expert but I know a little.

Marami din mga customer na maarte, kahit naman okay yung pagkain ang dami nilang sinasabi, tapos yung iba naman nag rerequest nang pagkain which is out of the menu, kapag hindi naman na approve yung request, ang dami nilang sinasabi. Wala naman problema na mag request, our chefs are willing to cook naman but at least iniinform nila nang ahead of time or during the reservation about their request.

Lalo na ngayon kulang sila nang cook, chef Eric will deny their request. But, if the item is available or takes a short time to make. The chef will do it.

The challenging part of being a cook, base on my opinion siguro yung maraming allergy. Buti nga lang hindi ako cook. But of course, as a waiter responsibilidad namin alamin kung paano niluto yung pagkain at ano yung mga hinahalo. At ano yung mga alternate ingredients na puwedeng haluin sa pagkain nila if they have a certain allergy and diet restrictions. I don't know kung bakit ang daming allergy nang mga Americans. Sa Asia halos out of 10 only 1 person is allergy. This is only base on my experiences being a waiter.

Minsan, we do have customer na allergic halos lahat nang ingredients na hinalo sa pagkain. Minsan naman mai dalang sariling pagkain yung mai allergy at sinamahan lang yung kasama nya mag dine-in samin.

"Excuse me lady." A middle age lady calling my attention behind my back. She was peeking at my name tag. "Marie, can I cancel my reservation for our dinner tonight, I want to change it on Saturday night. Could you update my request please?"

"Of course Mrs, Turner. Do you have any extra requests for your foods so I will inform our chef?" Mrs, Turner is our customer who had stayed in the resort for 2 days together with her sister. They had a business trip around the town and plan to stay for 3 more days to unwind. Minsan ang sarap maging mayaman.

"I am good at anything. Thank you."

Lunch is over. Sa ngayon nagtutulungan kaming lahat sa pag linis nang baso at mga utensils. Asaran at tawanan ang nagiging stress reliever namin after work.

Aside from that, they mentioned the topic of Zac's house warming party. They did make fun of me maybe this time if I go with them to the party I will get a boyfriend. They didn't know about my special friend. Walang naka alam about my past heartbroken story.
