Something is wrong. Not in a way you can see. Not in a way you can prove. But once you notice it- you can't unsee it. --- On his first day at a new school, everything feels... almost normal. The corridors are filled with noise. The routine is familiar. Nothing stands out. Except for one thing. Her. --- She doesn't belong to the background like everyone else. She feels... fixed. Unchanging. Like she exists outside whatever is quietly shifting beneath reality. --- At first, it's easy to ignore. A moment that lasts too long. A silence that shouldn't be there. A feeling that something is watching-not him, but everything. --- Then people start to stop. Mid-step. Mid-sentence. Mid-breath. Time fractures. Patterns repeat. And something unseen begins to take control. --- It doesn't ask. It doesn't warn. It only observes. And adapts. --- Some try to understand it. Some try to use it. Some don't realize it's already inside them. --- But the truth is worse than any of them imagined- because this isn't something that can be escaped. --- It's learning. --- And when it finally decides what to keep- and what to erase- there won't be a second chance. --- Because the only way to stop it... is to disappear with it.

Belle needed a quiet place to paint. What she got... was The House. Described by her cousin as "quaint" and "full of character," the old mansion on the isolated farm is anything but. The house smells like something died in it in 1893 and never quite left. The lights don't work, the clocks don't agree, and the walls seem to whisper when the storm rolls in. Charming. Cut off from the outside world as the weather turns vicious, Belle is not alone. There's a man-warm, real, and very distracting... except for one small problem: She's not entirely sure he is real. Because this house doesn't behave. Doors don't always lead where they should. Time slips. Shadows remember. And sometimes, the past doesn't just echo-it replays. As old journals, strange dreams, and terrifying moments she can't explain bring together fragments of history, Belle begins to uncover tragedies that were never meant to be buried. But the house isn't just remembering. It's waiting... Funny, haunting, and quietly heartbreaking, The House is a story about love, loss, revenge, and the secrets that refuse to stay buried. This story contains themes of psychological horror, violence, and disturbing imagery. Reader discretion is advised. Genre: Mystery/Humour/Romance This is a work of fiction. My first story! Hope this doesn't flop ^^' Desc: As you wander through the forest, lost in thought, day eventually turns to dusk. As you come back from thinking, you realize that you're in the middle of nowhere. The Broken Lands is a story following you, the reader, as you wander through a backrooms-style world in an attempt to get home. I'M TYPICALLY GOING TO USE THEY/THEM FOR THE READER, BUT SOMETIMES I WILL STRAY AND USE MORE FEMININE TERMS. I APOLOGIZE TO THE MEN READING. This is a horror/fantasy style story, with very little romance. So I apologize if you want romance. :^ I APOLOGIZE IF THERE ARE ANY MISPELLED WORDS/BAD GRAMMAR. MAH BRAIN IS BARELY RUNNING HALF THE TIME (PG 13+)

My grandmother, and her great great grandmother are all from Bergama, Turkey. The town used to be called Pergamon, an ancient Greek/Roman city which houses Red Basilica; the temple of the Egyptian goddess Isis. I am definitely not superstitious, however I am certain that the women on my mothers side are witches. ********************** In this series of short stories, I will be delving into different topics surrounding my family. These include hard to explain incidents, mysterious guests, family "recipes" that are passed down from hundreds of years ago. However being a male myself, my access to these sources are extremely limited, so expect some missing links that you may have to fill out yourself. These are all real stories, not "stories inspired by real events". I will explain everything from either how I experienced it myself, or how it was told to me. There will be no truth bending for the sake of story. This is an ongoing series. I am currently asking permission for sharing family owned photos that may help readers contextualize these stories. **********************

That is, until Emma finds a piece of evidence Books can't ignore. More fatalities are reported by the day-and they're all inexplicable. No motives, no murder weapons, no suspects. Could one person really be responsible for these unthinkable crimes? A breakneck-paced thriller with twists that will keep you holding your breath until the final, astonishing chapters, INVISIBLE is Tyra Thompson's most shocking stand-alone novel yet.

When I was 7-year-old, I was visited by something strange that I have never been able to explain - the silhouette of a shadow figure through the blinds of my bedroom window. It's something I have always remembered. I was terrified when it happened, but as I got older, I came to terms with what I saw. This is a flash nonfiction short story about that cold November night, what I saw, and what it could possibly mean.
