"The king's been locking himself in his study for three days straight now. Whatever's going on? Surely it's not caused by paperwork. Master Kai barely enters the room." "... The Queen has been avoiding him lately. Do you think His Majesty's taking on mistresses?"

"LADIES!"

The trio of lady servants nearly jumped out of their scrubs when they heard the stern, alarming voice of the elderly head maid storming in for their direction, and not one of them could care about the fact that Mathilde almost dropped her bucket of dirty sponges.

"Discussing something none of your business, eh?" Gerda huffed with an irritated scowl, "What about you drag your scandalous curiosity somewhere else, perhaps the kitchens? Chef Leonardo and Lady Guinette must've finished all their work for the day and it'd be a shame to keep the floors with grease."

The tallest couldn't hide her annoyed frown as she and her companions turn away to follow their superior's command, the sound of leather heels clicking against the recently broom swept floors of the castle halls growing distant once they've ensured a safe distance from the sassy older woman.

"The nerve of that ugly hag!"

"Shut it, Ada! Next thing we know we will be cleaning off the training grounds too!"

"Benefits in there are, we get to see those cute cadets. Ah, Cadet Dahl~"
...
"Maids nowadays," Gerda shook her head in murmured disbelief, "Stepping in personal lives like it's their own. I'll make sure to inform Kai and allow him to give them an earful. Though I can't help it, what is indeed going on between the King and the Queen? Hopefully it's nothing so rash."

"OFF THE PATH, WOMAN!"

The blood-curdling cry of the incoming General immediately impelled the head maid to step aside from the two ivory doors leading to the cozy room as Magoo and the burly prince behind him wished.

Hoisting the slipping sledgehammer further up to his grip, Magoo rammed it to the thin gap between the two doors like it was a mere lightweight axe.

Yet the first try to break through was a failure, Kristoff managed to push the General aside and snatched the tool to try once more.

"What is the meaning of this, General?!" Gerda angrily stomped her way to the occupied man kneeling next to the knob with a hairpin, "Yelling like a madman, presumably a monkey! Leave the king to his privacy!"

"No, Gerda," It was Kai who spoke with worry this time, "You have to get Her Majesty. The King may need her."

Leaving the three men to work constantly for a successful result, the head maid hurriedly walked away as she adjusted the tiny specs displayed on the bridge of her nose in distress.

"Seriously, three days without even letting us know that he still exists?!" Magoo growled, "Now Aiden, if you're awake in there you better damn know that you can't-HOLY MOTHER OF ARENDELLE, AIDEN!"

The heavy sledgehammer landed on the floor with an abrupt crash! and Kristoff didn't even held an effort to tend to the fallen tool when all he could do was scurry to approach the unconscious form of the fire king unmoving next to the wall.

Magoo happily sighed in relief to find that his former prodigy is indeed breathing and well noticeably alive, but all signs of his alleviation washed away when his eyes happened to come by the blood pursuing from the wound formed on his head. It wasn't so obvious, at first, with the fire wielder's dark hair covering the evidence of carelessness.
