"Lauren, I'm trying to help you here"

I cross my arms and look away

"Omg...do you have a crush on Joey?"

I put my thoughts away, I look down and sigh

"You okay?", Tessa asks

"Yeah", I nod, "Why?"

"You seem upset", she says.

"It's nothing", I say and look down at my notes.

She taps my shoulder with her pen, "No you're not"

Everyone looks up with a confused look but I don't notice

I take a deep breath, "I got into an argument with Ally after I got up and rushed to the bathroom"

"About what?", she questions.

"I-", I hesitate.

She furrows her eyebrows

"I told her about this boy that I may like and she freaked out"

"Who is this boy?", she asks.

I clench my teeth

"Yeah who is it?", Lucas asks.

I look over and my group is all waiting for me to answer

"Who?", Tessa says waiting for me to answer.

"His name is Joey", that's all I'm going to say.

They furrow their brows, "Joey who?"

I roll my eyes, "Joey Bi-"

Haileys eyes widen, "Joey Birlem?"

I'm shocked, how did she know?

"Yeah...how did you know?", I question.

"There's only a few guys names Joey that go here, and that Joey that you're talking about is the popular Joey", Lucas explains.

"Aka Bad boy Joey...", John rolls his eyes.

I cross my arms, "What do you mean?"

"He's slept with my cousin Jessica before", he answers.

My eyes widen

"Yeah", they say

We get back to reading notes and soon the bell rings.

I don't believe anything they said, so if they think they did something, they can think again.

I grab my backpack and head to next period, I walk in and sit in the center of the classroom.
