AIMEE WALKED DOWN into the kitchen, where her Dad was sat at the island. "Dad?"

"Hi Aimee"

Aimee hesitated and stopped by the stairs "What-What are you doing?" She asked

He stared at her confused "Getting ready for work" he replied

"But you haven't been to work in like 3 months" Aimee said

"I'm turning over a new leaf. I know I've been a bit of a dickhead lately, but I promise I'm gonna try and be better. I'm gonna stop drinking, and I'm going to focus on you and but the past in the past" Her dad explained taking a step forwards. Aimee hesitated again, scanning his face. He seemed sincere so she took a step forwards and hugged him

"I missed you" she smiled slightly. The door suddenly opened and EJ walked in

"What's going on?"

"Oh hey EJ, how are you?" Aimee's dad asked

"I'm good, thank you. Aimee we need to go" EJ said looking really confused and uncomfortable. Aimee nodded and waved goodbye to her father.

EJ hopped in the car and stared at Aimee "What the fuck was that?"

"He said he's turning over a new leaf, giving up alcohol and going back to work. He seems very sincere and I missed him" Aimee smiled slightly

"Be careful, I don't like it when you turn up out of the blue carrying a new injury" EJ told her, grabbed her hand softly

"I promise"

THE THEATRE GANG were stood outside the bomb shelter, waiting to be let in for rehearsal. Inside the bomb shelter, Carlos and Aimee we're searching for Natalies emotional support hamster. "Natalie, are you sure that it's in here?" Aimee asked

"Where else would he be?" Natalie cried frantically running around, she ran past the pair, standing on Carlos's toe

"Ahhhh!" Carlos screamed, tripping and knocking Aimee over

"Ow! Carlos!" She whined standing back up and offering him her hand

"Sorry"

"Wait, I had Gym class last, he must be in my gym locker!" Natalie announced

Aimee looked at her in disbelief "So you mean to tell me that I spent an hour in here looking for your stupid hamster when he probably wasn't even in here!" Aimee exclaimed.

Natalie stormed out of the bomb shelter in tears "I need a minute"

"Is he dead?" Ashlyn asked quietly

"No, now she thinks he's in her gym locker" Carlos answered "and Aimee snapped at her for it"

Aimee sent everyone a sheepish grin "I wasted my time"

"Why the screaming?" Ashlyn asked

"Oh that was me, she stepped on my toe" Carlos shrugged "We're ready for begin, people!"

Everyone trudged into the bomb shelter, with instructions to get ready for the Troy and Gabriella Duet of 'What I've been looking for'. Aimee sat on the piano, next to Seb, who was helping her learn it on the piano.

EJ and Nini stood on the mini stage, far away from each other "Can I get you to move a little closer?" Miss Jenn asked, Nini shuffled closer but barely. Aimee wondered if something had happened between the two. "Come on guys, we're blocking, this is a love story, not a SARS epidemic"
