" Pops! Pops! Get up!"
I groaned and put the blanket over my face so I won't have to deal with my son early this morning.
I heard him sigh, " Pops! Get up, it's your birthday."
" Jay go play the game or something."
" I'm telling Ms. Nadia."
I chuckled, " Go tell her."
I heard him leave my room and I resumed my sleep.
" Elijah! Get up right now."
This little boy really went to go snitch. I can't believe it.
" I'm sleeping Nadia."
I felt the blanket being removed from my body and I groaned even louder.
" Y'all are tripping. Can I sleep in peace?"
They both shook their heads, " No."
" Amor, it's your birthday. Get up. Jay and I made you a big breakfast."
Jay nodded, " Yeah come on pops."
I sighed and got out of the bed. I don't know why they are taking my birthday so serious. It's just another day.
" The food better be good." I said walking to the kitchen.
Nadia chuckled, " Don't come for us like that."
Jay nodded in agreement, " Yeah. We are the best cooks around."
When I walked in the kitchen, I was shocked. It was all of my favorite foods including desserts with 3 big things of strawberry lemonades, I'm in heaven.
" Wow, yall went all out for little old me?" I said fake crying
Nadia chuckled, " Today is all about you mi amor, so get ready."
" Yeah pops, you're going to have the best time ever." Jay said jumping up and down
" Well shit let's dig in" I said rubbing my hands together not even knowing where to start.

Few hours later
" Mamas you didn't have to make all of that food, I'm still full as hell." Nadia and I were laying down on the couch and Jay was in his room playing the game.
" Oh shush, I got help from my little helper, you ready for the next step of your day?"
I was genuinely confused because I didn't know there was anything else.
" What you got in mind?" I asked her
She shook her head, " It's a surprise, I have your clothes ready for you on the bed, we are going to leave whenever we all get ready."
