" Tía, can I wear this today?"

I looked at what she had in her hands and approved. " Sure. You need help putting it on?"

She shook her head, " No I got it. Come on Sassy and Shiloh!"

I pulled out my clothes and ran the shower. Junie took one last night so I'm just going to put on a show for her to watch while I get myself together.

" Tía, I need help."

I chuckled, " Okay baby. Come here."

I tied the strings and told her to put on her chanclas. I did her hair and got her some juice.

" I'm going to take a shower so just watch tv okay."

She nodded, " Okay. Can I call mommy and daddy?"

" Sure, here you go."

I got in the shower humming songs to myself. I was thinking about the designs that I just finalized and how we are getting ready to create them. If no one else says it I will, I'm fucking proud of myself.

I stayed in there for a little bit and got out to get ready.

" So you know my Tía?"

Who the hell is she talking to?

" Yes I do. We are good friends."

" Mhmm, do you wike her?"

" Junie! Who are you talking to?"

" Un hombre. Muy simpatico."

I walked inside my room and looked at the phone. Oh my goodness it was Eli.

I had only my towel and this was a bad time.

" Hey beautiful."

" Hey Eli."

" He called Tía and I just answered it."

" I let you call your parents and you should of gave it to me if you seen someone calling. I'm not mad at you but it could of been someone else who I didn't know."

She put her head down, " Sorry Tía."

" Yeah, sorry Tía."

I looked at my phone forgetting that Eli was there.

" I'm not mad so pick your face up. Te amo."

" Te amo."

I walked to my closet and pulled out my shoes.

" She's cute."

I nodded, " Thanks."

" She didn't mean any harm and surprisingly she was very outspoken."
