King sat in his fathers office along with Mike and his cousin Chris they had just got done having a meeting with the crew and were just going over some small details of a trade off.
King hadn't discussed the disagreement him and Sevyn had about him working to much he only told his family she missed her parents and wanted to go see them out in Texas.
He convinced his parents that she didn't want them to continue flying back and forth because they were at the age where they need to be settling down in the house.
"This happening tomorrow night, we do not need a repeat of last time so Chris we are going to have you parked at the end of the street with somebody else in the car with you while we wait at the meeting spot that way if a nigga try any funny business you can catch them before they leave, pick two people you trust to pull the trigger to be in the car with you" Chris nodded his head at King while taking a sip of some Hennessy.
"And King don't be nice this time if them niggas not there in 30 minutes you leave and make sure you give them a gift at the door so they know not to think shit sweet"
"I got it pops" his dad nodded his head and they went over a few more things before setting a time to meet up tomorrow.
"Son I been meaning to ask you somethin"
"Go for it" taking a hit from his blunt he looked down at his phone seeing he still hadn't got a text back from Sevyn and it had been a few hours.
Maybe she's sleep he thought to himself.
"You get Sevyn to sign a prenup?" Looking up from his phone to see if his dad was seriously asking him that he noticed Chris and Mike were looking at him waiting on a response.
"Nah it wasn't necessary" shrugging his shoulders at the though of a prenup he didn't really care to much about even discussing one.
"I understand you feel dat way, but ion want you ta end up out on yo ass so think about it"
"It's nothin ta' think about, if Sevyn end up pregnant she stuck with me anyways and she gonna get money from child support or whatever else if we got a divorce, but I'm also not gonna think about it because I'm not about ta think about what happens if we divorce since we ain't gonna divorce and that's that" shrugging his shoulders he looked back down at his phone sending Sevyn another text.
"I need to hear your voice... 🥴" his dad avoided making another comment about it because he could tell King was already getting irritated by the conversation so he decided to just let the topic go.
