The next day you went to Varian's house to tell him the news. "Are you okay?" You shook your head. "What's wrong?" You looked at Varian's ocean blue eyes, he looked so happy and you were about to ruin it, but it's not like you have a choice. "When I got back to the orphanage yesterday Mrs. Weeden told me that I'm going to a new orphanage in Equis."
Varian's P.O.V
What! They're was going to a different kingdom! "Why?" That was all I could manage to say. "Since I haven't been adopted and it's been 6 years since I started adoption interviews she said I might have a better chance at getting adopted there."
She started crying and hugged me like their life depended on it. "I told her I didn't want to go but she said I have to. I don't want to leave you." Their voice was muffled on my shoulder but I was still able to make it out.
Y/N's P.O.V
Varian hugged me back, "Can you convince her to let you stay?" "I tried but she said I can't" Telling this to him broke my heart I didn't know what to do so I just continued to cry on his shoulder. Varian started crying too. When we let go of each other we heard a knock on the door.
Third-person P.O.V
It was Mrs. Weeden, "Y/N let's go we need to start packing." Not that you had much to pack. You and Varian didn't open the door hoping she would think you weren't here and leave. Of course, nothing goes as planned. Mrs. Weeden opened the door and grabbed you by the wrist and took you out of the lab.
"Y/N please don't leave me." Was the last thing you heard before the door was slammed shut.

Varian was sitting on a grass field, still trying to process what happened. He didn't know what life would be like without you. He's known you for practically his whole life how would he do anything without you. He couldn't let you leave and he wouldn't.
