Chapter 21

Narration

After talking with Zayn, Kate was more confused than ever. She reached home.

"Hey babe, I'm home," yelled Kate.

"Where the hell were you ? Tell me what exact work you had?" Aurora questioned, fake glaring at Kate.

"I went to see Zayn," she said.

"Zayn? Why in the world do you have to see Mr. Jerk?" she asked.

"You really don't know? Look Aurora, I just can't send you with him when you both are not looking at each other, " She said, a bit annoyed.

"Wait, what? Where are we going?" Aurora asked, perplexed.

"Aww, my crazy doe, you and Zayn are going to Paris, remember ?" asked Kate, chuckling.

"Oh, right! I have to go with Mr. Jerk! But no problem I have Ryan," said Aurora.

"Oh darling listen, your pair is Zayn and not Ryan," Kate said, making her roll her eyes.

"Babe, I have to thank him for saving me that day and I'm really grateful for that and that's all we are. Like he saved me for not liking me but because he was a good man. Don't confuse anything," said Aurora.

"Zayn isn't what you think he is. He has something deep inside him which we all have missed to notice and it's not his fault. He even warned Zira not to do anything like that again. He doesn't even know what else to do, he is messed up. We all know, Zayn is not the one for all these things, like to apologize or something, but in your case it's different. He- he likes you," Kate finished.

"What? He likes me? Stop kidding," said Aurora.

"Nobody is kidding here. I know he does. He indirectly told me. He also said that whatever may happen, even if you don't talk to him, even if you hurt him by ignoring him, he will still take care of you. He will be there for you no matter what. You may wonder whether he's lying, but believe me the things he told were true, cause we know Zayn is not the one for dramas and he looked straight into my eyes and told them. It held honesty. I'm sure about it. But I really can't do anything if you act oblivious to that," finished Kate and stormed out, leaving Aurora in her deep thoughts.

Zira Williams

I tried everything I could to keep Zayn and Aurora apart. But I guess Zayn isn't alright with me being with him always and not with her. After that incident, Zayn isn't talking to me like before. He started ignoring me. 

What does she have which I don't have? Now she is even going to Paris. That stupid teacher should've told this earlier. The trip to Paris. I would've done it better then. Now there was nothing that I could do. 

I have known Zayn for years, but she just came now. So obviously I am important to Zayn and I'll never let that importance go down. I'll make sure to keep him with me.

In the past three weeks, many things have changed. I never thought Zayn would befriend anyone beside Zira. I don't like Zira because I think that she is toxic to Zayn. She has a thing for Zayn. She's way more possessive whereas Zayn sees her only like a friend. But she doesn't seem to understand. Pestering Zayn every time to be with her. Such a clingy bitch!

I never swear at women but she makes me do it. I respect women. They are honourable and great but let's just say that she's an exception. Zayn likes her too, but as a friend and that is the reason he bears all this pestering.

But things have changed since Aurora's arrival. He was amused by Aurora instead of getting annoyed. He doesn't like when anyone talks back to him, he hates it, but when Aurora does it, he admires her, instead of getting annoyed. His eyes display pure admiration whenever she is around and he simply doesn't even try to hide it.

Love struck the bad boy!

And believe me, he surely isn't the type to play with girls and annoy them like he does with Aurora. He always tries and gets on her nerves effortlessly, which he loves doing. I do know that he likes her but I don't exactly know what his feelings are towards her. He has been different since Aurora's arrival.

A good difference indeed.

Zayn is someone who doesn't give everyone a chance to know about him. He was more of a classic private person. He doesn't show his love to everyone, and when he likes someone he will shower them true love and affection which they deserve. But believe me, gaining his trust isn't an easy task at all. I repeat, Not easy at all!

He can be a jerk most of the time, but he is such a sweetheart to his loved ones, but his past still haunts him. He doesn't want to marry and start a life. He was still afraid of his past. Afraid that something will go wrong in his life.

I wish Aurora would change his life and make his life beautiful like it was once. I wish he would allow her to change him. I hope he opens up to her. But ever since that incident because of Zira, they both are not talking to each other. And the horrible thing at the party, he saved Aurora and even after that, they don't seem to talk to each other.

He isn't himself from that day, to be honest. He tries to mask it well, but after all, I know him better than he does himself. He likes Aurora but just needs time to confirm his feelings.

On the other hand, Ryan. I can see that he has a thing for Aurora. I wish it wasn't true. I wish I'm just hallucinating.  But the way he behaves with Aurora makes it obvious. I just don't want both of them to get hurt in the end. I don't want my brothers hurt.

Zayn has been in many worse situations earlier. He was already hurt enough from his past. Though he is a billionaire and lives a lavish lifestyle, he isn't happy. Truly happy. 

True happiness is priceless and couldn't be measured by money and unfortunately, God doesn't give that to all. He likes Zira cause she's been with some of the dark times.

Yeah , he does like her. But nothing more than a friend. Love is different. Completely different.

And I want him to have a beautiful love , which will change him and make him forget his past. He was such a kind young boy. But things changed since that horrible incident. He completely changed from a happy young boy to an arrogant guy. 

Well I'll not blame him. It was because of his destiny. After all, everyone couldn't have a beautiful life, could they? What would life be if everyone has a perfect love? Perfect life? They only wish they have. If everyone has a good life then what is the point in destiny?

Time changes people. After every hardship we face, we surely will have a good life awaiting us. We should never let our past hardships drown us in the present. Patience is an ultimate key I'd say.

One can also be so drowned in his past and not see the good that is coming to him. It makes people blind. It makes people miserable. We will be too blind to see the happy life which isn't too far.

Time changes, so does the pain. The things we thought would kill us might be our strength in the future. We just don't know that! Maybe we are oblivious to that. And believe me, God is the best planner of planners.

It's just how we see our problems. Everyone has a different point of view, but what really matters is patience and a strong heart to face things. We shouldn't be too worked up by what others say. A strong heart and a healthy mind paves way for great achievements.

There are people in this world who simply destroy others' confidence and happiness. Worthless muppets. Just let the people keep their rubbish to themselves. Don't give a damn about it.

These others are just others, where only we will be living our lives. So don't let others rule it. Rule number one, fuck what they think. I wish things change and Zayn becomes happy as he was once. I want the old Zayn, happy Zayn back.
