She looked at me wife eyed and ran towards the window.

Speaker's batteries busted and fire broke in them.

I smirked and left her room.

A week passed to that speaker incident.

I was feeling like I was dying day by day living in this hell. I was not allowed to do anything according to my wish. I have to obey his orders. I can't listen any music. Can't go anywhere. All my day used to pass in room sometime cleaning it and watching tv. I wasn't even having my mobile cause that beast snatched it from me the day he broke speakers.
Life was seriously passing like hell. I didn't use to talk to anyone.

Sometimes Arsh and Burhan tries to have fun but I didn't use to get to involve too much. May be because I was not used to such family fun.
I was seriously rotting in my room.

I sighed and decided to roam around.

I took my muffler and hung it on my shoulder annoyingly and started climbing stairs.

I was on half stairs when I heard a soothing voice.

It was Arabic language!! I recognized it as soon it hit my ear drums. My Islamiat teacher used to teach us about Quranic verses which I never listened properly.

It was that comforting that I couldn't help but sat down on stairs putting my muffler on head.

" You know children that one of the specialty of Quran is that you can't change it but it can change you properly for real and good."
It was Amma' s voice. She was explaining about specialities of Quran to her students.

I put my face on my knees circling my arms around my knees.

"You know children this Quran is a holy book which is a complete code of guidance for the mankind so it is the duty of every Muslim to read and understand it carefully with meanings. As you all know that it is the last holy book revealed to Holy Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) through the angel Jibrael. Each and every Surah and verse of this holy book has its own importance and significance.

The Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) once said,
"O People of the Quran, do not make the Quran a pillow, that is do not be lazy and be careless, and read the Quran in the day and night like it is the Haq of Recitation, and spread it, that is, read with good voices or do not take compensation for it, and whatever is in it, reflect upon it so that you may attain success, and do not hurry in its reward because the reward for it is great (which will be given in the Akhirah). (Bahiqi)"

Amma was speaking softly and I was dieing as if her every word was piercing through my heart making its place in my chest.

I was pondering over the words which she spoke before not listening to what she was saying now.

"They say that we should recite holy Quran day and night but I left it long ago."
I whispered to myself looking at a random spot.

I didn't remember when I last recited any surah. It's not like I didn't know how to read the words of Quran but now I was sure that I had forgotten many of it.
